![]() Author has written 3 stories for Lord of the Rings, Halo, and Hobbit. Hey there! So I'm trying to update my stories a lot more frequently, I've just found that I actually have more free time than I had thought. The only problem is that my interests in my stories can literally change from day to day which can really make updating a hassle. However, I am going to do my best to update at least twice a month, or more, just depending on my interests, my inspiration and my willingness to actually sit down and dedicate a lot of hours into writing my chapters. I do try to make sure that my chapters are at least 5k long or longer just because of the lack of consistent updates, as a way to make up for the lack of updates and the amount of time between each update. That being said, I've started a Halo story and I will slowly be going through the process of rewriting and editing my Lord of the Rings story, but I cannot stress the word slowly enough; it will be an extremely long and slow process. As for new stories (I know, I really shouldn't start anymore since I have two on the go, both less than 5 chapters, one also having not been updated in actual years,) I am planning on doing an Expendables story, a Star Wars story, a Transformers story (the first trilogy movies with Shia LaBeouf and maybe the second 'trilogy' since Lennox is in it too,) a Red Dawn story, a Troy story, a Spartacus story, an Armageddon story, there is a story for The Hobbit and a Hunger Games story. Maybe even a Game of Thrones and 300 story too, all over the course of an undetermined amount of time of course. I'm even thinking about writing a Hawaii Five-0 story too, but these last three are maybes, nothing is for sure though. However, I can tell you all about my basic ideas for the stories that I do plan on writing. My Expendables story will be a Billy The Kid/OC story, which will obviously be a bit of an AU with Billy not dying. For sure his fiance will be in the story, I can tell you that already, I won't be excluding her, but she also won't have the biggest of roles/impact in the story. As for my Star Wars story, it will be a Poe Dameron/OC story that will cover the entire trilogy once episodes VIII and IX come out. It definitely won't be right away, probably won't be written or expected to be out until at least episode VIII is released, that way I have more to write with. Plus, with all the rumours and fan theories that Poe could be a gay character, I just want to make sure that if I do write a story, I'll have as much information about the characters as possible and I just don't want to start writing a story about Poe being with a woman if his character is gay, I just think that would be a horrible thing to do to a gay character. However, with that being said, if the rumors and fan theories are true, I'm not sure if I will be doing a Poe Dameron story simply because I'm personally not comfortable with writing such a story like that. Not because I have anything against gay characters, but just because I've never written for a gay character and I don't want to do an injustice to the character of Poe by not getting the story quite right. The Transformers story that I do for sure plan on writing will be a Will Lennox/OC story that will cover the entire first trilogy. Depending on how well the story is received and if there is a demand for it, I might be willing to write a sequel to the story, instead of just an epilogue, but this also depends on what happens in the next Transformers movie. I know that Lennox and some of those guys are being brought back in, so I might end up writing a sequel to the first trilogy, but that is a huge maybe. The first movie of the new trilogy wasn't all that great in my opinion, and because it deviates from Sam Witwicky and his story and how literally Will and his guys aren't mentioned at all, I think it would be a very difficult project to take on, but for now the sequel to the first trilogy is a maybe. Of course, this will not be for awhile, but I'd still like for you all to know what I have planned or am thinking of doing. As for Red Dawn, it will be a Jed Eckert/OC story and it will be written based on the 2012 version of the movie. Toni will still be in the story for sure, I won't exclude her from it or write her out/kill her off, she just won't end up with Jed, but they will still have a friendship for sure. I'll be adding my own touches to the story, one to make it my own of course, but two to stretch it out and make it into a longer story. It's very easy with a film like Red Dawn to make it really short, only 15 chapters or so, but I definitely don't want to do that. I want my chapters to be a good and decent length and I want the story to be longer, to be at least 20-25 chapters, so in order for that to happen I will definitely have to add my own touches and I have no problem doing that, especially with this movie. I've got lots of ideas floating around in my head and I know how I want to build and structure the main character already, so my plan is definitely to make it longer than it could be, but hopefully not so that it drags on. Troy will be an Achilles/OC story and I can already tell you that the OC will be the twin sister of Hector and older sister of Paris (with a bit of a twist, but I'll save that for the story ;).) She will definitely be a fighter and have a fiery spirit, which I will hopefully be able to portray and write in properly. The same thing goes for this story as my Red Dawn story. It's very easy to make this story very simple and short, but that's again definitely not what I want to do. I have a big plan for this story already, a few ideas floating around and I'm really hoping that I can make this story a decent length, but again, not one that drags on. As for my Spartacus story it will be a Gannicus/OC story and will cover all four seasons of the show, I can already tell you guys that. I'm going to try and write a pretty complex character for the OC in the sense that she has quite a story arch and will change dramatically from the beginning of the story to the end, it'll hopefully be quite a ride for sure. The Spartacus series is only 39 episodes, but it covers so much time and so many events, so be prepared for a long story. I'm not sure if I'll be splitting it up for each season, so starting a new story for each season, but I'll get to that when I actually start writing the story. I will be doing an Armageddon story, and it's going to be a Will Sharp/OC story, which might end up being the next story that I put up just because I can probably fire it out pretty quickly. However, even if I do start writing it when I say I can probably fire it out pretty quickly, that doesn't mean it's going to be a quick and simple story or a sloppy story. I'm going to do my very best to make it a quality story with a lot of details and hope to make it a good read that covers at least 20 chapters or so but please don't take my word on that yet as I seem to write way more than I probably should haha. I'm not entirely sure if I'll write a Game of Thrones story, just because it is such a massive undertaking and I'm nervous that I won't be able to do justice to the canon characters or all of the characters stories themselves, but if I feel up to writing one, it would be a Robb Stark/OC story. I mean I am writing a Lord of the Rings story, which is a massive undertaking in and of itself, but I've watched the films so many times and have read quite a bit of background stuff so I feel like I have a pretty solid grasp on that story, compared to Game of Thrones. I've only watched the show, and even though I have the books I haven't really read them yet. So, if I do decide to write a story, I'd have to decide if I'm going with the show or the books storyline or a combination of both and of course I'd have to decide if I keep Robb alive or kill him as he dies in canon, and then decide if I kill my OC with him as well or keep her alive and continue with the story. It's quite a lot to take on, so for now, the Game of Thrones story is a massive maybe. If I do decide to write a Hawaii Five-0 story, it will definitely be a Steve McGarrett/OC story and it may or may not follow the show, it's hard to say right now. If I followed the show it's a huge undertaking as well, and I'd have to decide if I start from the beginning or jump in in the second season or halfway through whichever season. It's hard to say. I could, of course, go off and create my own story for them, but I'm not all that great at coming up with compelling and intricate original stories such as that, at least right now I'm not. So it's a huge maybe as well if I write a Hawaii Five-0 story. Finally, if I do get around to writing a 300 story, I'm not too sure right now if I will have the OC pair up with anyone, but if I do decide to have a pairing it'll likely be a Dilios/OC story. It definitely won't go into the mess that was 300: Rise of an Empire, except maybe in an epilogue type chapter, but it'll have a lot of original content added to it to make it a longer story than just a few chapters based on the movie for sure. I've toyed with writing a 300 story for years, so I've got quite the collection of ideas floating around in my head, but of course, for now, those are all just ideas until I figure out if I'm ready or wanting to write this. I am also going to be doing a Pacific Rim story, it's currently in the works right now, I've been doing a lot of research on known Kaiju's and Jaeger's in the Pacific Rim universe and going from there. I've even 'built' eight original Jaeger's that will be in the story and will soon be working on my own Kaiju's to beef up the story and add some originality to it. The original Jaeger's are easy to do. Having created them in the Jaeger creation website that they put out with the film, it's easy to design them and create stories for them, but the Kaiju's are different. Each Kaiju is different, just like the Jaeger's and they tell their own stories, but it's difficult to create backgrounds/stories so to speak for mythical creatures that you really have to create from scratch. Again, I'm not the greatest at creating creatures like this, especially mythical creatures because they are your own creation, but you are trying to add them into a known universe already so be prepared to not have very many original Kaiju's added, but I'm hoping to have at least a few for sure for you guys. Trust me, I've never put this much time and effort into planning a story before so hopefully, in the end, it all pays off. It will be a combination of before and during the movie, more than likely won't be going past that until the sequel comes out and I can tell you right now that it is going to be a Herc Hansen/OC story. So for now, it'll just be the one story, but eventually when Pacific Rim: Maelstrom comes out and I see how they've worked out with how the first one ended and if Herc is obviously going to be in it or not, I might end up continuing the story to cover that movie as well. Fair warning though, I haven't read the book that came out, but with my research I'm looking at Jaeger's and Kaiju from K-Day and on, right up to the movie and building on them with my own, so it will include pilots and Jaeger's that are mentioned and talked about in the book. I'll more than likely end up buying the book here sometime soon, just so that I have more source material to work on and work off of for the content that I'm hoping to write for before the movie stuff. With everything that I've researched and everything that I'm working on building for this story in terms of characters and their backgrounds, it's looking like it's going to be a pretty content-based/filled story so hopefully, you all enjoy it when it comes out. But don't worry, all those stories won't be started or uploaded until after I finish my Forward Unto Dawn story and I begin to rewrite the few chapters that I have up for my Lord of the Rings story so far. The only story that will be coming out here soon will either be my Armageddon story or the Pacific Rim story, it literally just depends on what hits me first and then what I start writing. So that means that the planning for the Pacific Rim one will probably be put on hold if I start my Armageddon story, just so that I have less to worry about. Just warning you guys right now though, that whichever story I do start writing and uploading, it will be very slowly updated while I focus most of my attention on finishing I Am Your Shield, I Am Your Sword and the rewriting of Don't Say: We Have Come Now To The End. I am also currently working on planning out a Hunger Games story. Yes, I know, it's exactly what I need to be doing right now, planning a new story when I haven't kept my promise of updating even slightly regularly, but I recently re-watched the whole series and I was suddenly hit with some inspiration. It's going to be a Finnick Odair/OC story and will cover the entire trilogy as well as before the trilogy. I'll already tell you guys that my OC is going to be a tribute and a Victor from a previous games, so the story will begin during her games before moving onto the trilogy. I know that starting off with something that's not in the canon story/movies is really hard to get into sometimes, especially when most of the time you are so eager to see the characters that we love so much, but I'm really hoping that any of you who do read it are willing to stick it out and wait it out. I promise a few of our beloved characters will be in the first story, but obviously, the first story is really going to focus on building my OC first and foremost. So, this will definitely be a long story, since it'll cover so much time and so many events, which is already making me think about splitting it up into multiple stories. So, the first story will be her games, and then I'll post a new story for The Hunger Games, a new story for Catching Fire, and a new story for The Mockingjay. I'm not sure how I'll have things play out for Catching Fire and Mockingjay right now, but I'm also really just focusing on my OC's games currently and building up her world as we'll be in a district that doesn't have much published content for it, neither in the films or the books, so that's a challenge in and of itself. Currently it is where my interests lie the most, so it is very likely that you'll be seeing a chapter here within the next month or so, but don't take my word on it, I'm horrible at keeping my word when it comes to posting/updating stories as I'm sure you are all aware of. So, I know it can be a lot to ask of you guys to just hang in there and stick with me, especially with my horrible updating schedule, or lack thereof, but I do promise that I am working on more chapters and new stories for all of you! I'm not like most writers who have chapters and whole stories planned out months in advance, except for the Pacific Rim, Hunger Game and Hobbit stories but these are three very rare stories, I really do not put this much effort into planning and building my worlds; I usually go based off of what is already built and adding in tidbits here and there to just add my own mark to a world that I already love and add needs to be added to hopefully make it seem like my OC is part of that world and isn't just blatantly shoved in. I'm also really just the type of writer to sit down and just write when it hits me, then stick with it until it's finished and written just as I'd like it to be which means it can take quite a long time to post chapters. As you can tell with my Halo story, I do go back and reread what I post quite often which usually leads to more editing and at times complete rewriting of certain scenes/parts which can be frustrating at times and can also make updating and writing a new chapter that much more difficult. But, like I said, I promise I'll do my best to update a bit more frequently for all of you! Update on Stories: Don't Say: We Have Come Now To The End: ON TEMPORARY HIATUS; slowly working on editing chapters before eventually working on new ones. I Am Your Shield, I Am Your Sword: All chapters have been edited and updated; chapter five is being written right now. Anyone Can Fall, Even Heroes: Pacific Rim story; currently working on a backstory for my original Jaeger's and their battles against original and canon Kaiju's, will start on characters once I'm finished with those. Hoping to start working on the first chapter as soon as my inspiration and interest for Pacific Rim comes back. ON HOLD. The Brave Shall Heed The Call: New Hunger Games story. The first chapter is being written right now. Not sure when the first chapter will be posted though. ON HOLD. The World Is Now Behind You, Home Is Ahead: The Hobbit story. Writing the first chapter now, as I stated above, I am in a Middle Earth mood right now, so it's likely that you'll see a few chapters posted in the next little while. Fun Fact: I like to have the titles of my stories as lines from the shows/movies or from the soundtracks to the films or songs from the shows. Don't Say: We Have Come Now To The Endis a line from the song Into The West by Annie Lennox, the song played during the credits of The Return of the King. I Am Your Shield, I Am Your Swordis a line from Halo 3 during the campaign level The Storm. Cortana says this in one of her little moments that she has; if you've played the game you know what I mean by moments. Anyone Can Fall, Even Heroesis a slightly altered line from Pacific Rim. Raleigh says to Mako as they are falling through the Breach, right after he gives Mako his oxygen, "All I have to do is fall. Anyone can fall." I took out the first part and added in, 'Even heroes' for reasons that will make sense once the story is written and posted. The Brave Shall Heed The Callis a line from Horn of Plenty, the national anthem of Panem. It's played during the Hunger Games when they do the tribute parade through the Capitol, when they show all the tributes who have died that day in the Games, and propaganda commercials during the Mockingjay movies. I had a tough time trying to figure out a title for this part of my Hunger Games series and during planning for this story I found myself looking up the lyrics for the song that's played during the tribute parade and when I found them and read through them I instantly knew that this part of the anthem was exactly what I was looking for for this story. The World Is Now Behind You, Home Is Aheadis a line from An Unexpected Journey, the first Hobbit movie, just slightly rearranged. Instead of the original line, 'Home is now behind you. The world is ahead,' I've changed it to suit my main character. Once the story is up and you've all learned a bit about her, it'll make more sense as to why I've changed the line. It was surprisingly difficult to come up with a title for this story, I really struggled to pick out a line that would work for my story and what I plan to do with it and as soon as this line came up in the movie I knew it was the right one. |
