I remember when he first met her back in the day and compared to now, they've certainly come a long way. Very sweet :) Also find it interesting that you are also of the mind that had Thorin lived - in the canon story - he would not support Balin returning to Moria. I've often thought about that... if Thorin would have the same mind as Dain Ironfoot concerning the presence of Durin's Bane. Great writing! The canon characters are very well depicted in your fic and they seem very much in character. That's not an easy thing to do... especially with Thorin because he's a very complex character. |
