Hoo, boy! I can tell this is going to be amazing! All that detail and description, the research put into to the journey and the place names, the speech and mannerisms, all the effort put into this lovely character! The action isn't confined to the happenings of the original story (very important in my opinion!) And I don't even mind that it's written in first person!
*sigh* Bliss! I am eagerly awaiting your next update!

Great first chapter! I actually love your descriptive writing style, and especially that you use a lot of khuzdul: makes it more authentic and 'real'. Curious to see where you're going to take this story, can't wait for your next update! :)
