Hapsby is a cute little robot found in the video game Phantasy Star, when the heroine and her party need someone or something capable of flying a spaceship. He is made of Laconia, the strongest material in the PS universe, and is described as having a hard head. Haps is a woman who is too old for this gig, but keeps playing it because she loves the music.

For the curious, Salt was rendered AU years ago, but Fay didn't have a backstory when I wrote it. I kinda like it, though, so it's staying. I've played a bit of the arcade version of the upcoming Blazblue: Chronophantasma, and it looks like most of the stuff I guessed at about Lotte is wrong, too. It figures the few things I've written that I'm actually proud of are completely incompatible with canon. [weeps dramatically]
