Reviews for Mate in Two
Vivionne chapter 1 . 1/11/2013
So many brilliant lines made here. This was a nice look into Green's perspective on his friendship with Red. Sadly, I wish there was more interaction with the two in the manga. Oh well.
Mikure chapter 1 . 3/8/2010
Just going through and reading the rest of your stories, which are all just as wonderful. ;D

hapsby chapter 1 . 4/19/2009
A very interesting, snappily-written summary of Green's feelings on Red. I really quite liked this piece, and am excited to read the others you've written for Pokemon Special. [:
Tatsumaki-sama chapter 1 . 1/17/2009
What a sweet and wonderful story about Red and Green's friendship. That's Red for you, always getting himself and the rest of the world in trouble, dragging everyone else for the long, crazy ride. There was so many lines that I couldn't help but adore. Some of them being:

/As time passed and more and more incidents that fell under the ‘Red’ category in Green’s mind occurred, Green began to suspect that Red deliberately screwed with Green’s preconceptions, just for kicks./

/No matter how many plans he made that took Red into account, no matter how much data he took on Red to try and understand him, just when he finally thought he had figured everything out, the other boy would wreck it all with a casual comment that threw Green’s world for a loop./

/At least, Green thinks wryly, no matter how he screws stuff up, we can all depend on him./

/Red is an insane sadist who bases his pleasure on Green’s frustration./

/And despite (or perhaps because of, Green is not sure which) all that, Red is Green’s best friend, and Green wouldn’t trade him in for a new one if his life depended on it./

And that's just naming a few. You did such a marvelous job on Green's perspective. I can truly feel his frustration and annoyance at how he's got a friend like Red causing chaos and balance at the same time. Great job!
The Violent Tomboy chapter 1 . 10/13/2008
Red is the person playing Green in chess, and just as Green is sure that he has mate in two, it turns out they were playing checkers instead, and Red has just jumped all of Green’s pieces.

I love that line.
Aurisa chapter 1 . 9/19/2008
Found this. Thought it looked interesting. Clicked on it. And yay!

I must, as compared to Red's one-shot, I like Green's better. Maybe it is because it is more positive or maybe it is because this one-shot is fresher in my mind than the other (even though I just read Red's 3 minutes earlier (my friends like to say I have STML)), this appeal to my liking more.

Anyway, good job once again.
noonesorange- StarsRShiney chapter 1 . 9/14/2008
Red isn't the living embodiment of Murphy's Law. Hes the embodiment of (Dumb Luck X Deus Ex Machina) Murphy's law. Poor Green.
JapanManiac chapter 1 . 9/14/2008
Ahaha, If your best friend destroy every plan you make then of course you would stop the futile attempt~ Oh, I just love this like always you make the best one-shot! Now we know why Green always look so tired! Red the plan crasher has just destroy his carefully thought plan~!
