Let it be known that Sabaku no Gaara is officially on my shit list. I love you to pieces, Gaara, but what the hell is wrong with you??? You know Naruto can kick all your asses combined, but you're supporting locking him up on an island!!! When he figures out what's ACTUALLY going on, and that it's NOT an S-rank mission, he's going to be so pissed off!!! Just as pissed as me!!! Believe it!!!

I just made a realization while listening to "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Greenday. Itachi is the embodiement of the ninja world's dark side. He's introduced to us as the traditional badass villain, but as we go further into the series, we see the more human side. We feel for Itachi, but we still can't forget what he's done. Then it's revieled that it was his mission to kill all those he loved, destroying all his hopes for the future, as ordered by the village elders. Normally we see the optomistic Naruto, and we hear Kakashi's words about never abandoning your friends. In the end, Itachi ended up hurting the person he was trying to protect, his dear younger brother, and the vicious cycle starts again.

The fact that the most used way to hurt someone is by hurting the person they care about only proves how human and inhuman we are at the same time.

I want to apologize to everyone reading Unexpected News for the ridonculously long time it's been since I last updated. I actually have a pretty good reason. On top of school starting again, we got kicked out of my mom's house. My mom is living with my grandparents, and my brother and I are living with my dad and it's been a pretty big adjustment. When I was ready to get on top of it again, my computer broke. My dad's getting it fixed this weekend, so I should start up again soon. They definitely won't be as regular as during the summer, but I'll probably get at least a chapter out every month. I'll post this in the next chapter, too, in case people don't see this. Thanks for being patient and not yelling at me, guys.

Hi there. I know. For anyone who reads my stories and actually bothers to read my profile, I'm sorry. I know I haven't updated in forever. When I started writing I had about two and a half months head start on myself to to my age. I caught up, and I can't write as fast as I did before. Especially with school in session, and me trying to put the main focus back on my origional stuff. But as long as it takes I will not abandon the story.
