It's nice to find someone taking a good stab at the Ryan situation.
He was one of the first people, close to Clark, who he couldn't save; THAT is a huge milestone in the hero's path. In the end,Ryan was more of a hero to Clark than Clark was to Ryan.

Lex having Clark keep the incredibly rare comic book was a nice touch. It is truly a shame that so few stories have Ryan in it.
