![]() Author has written 47 stories for O.C., Cold Case, and Bones. Disclaimer: Anyone whom you recognise is not mine. No infringement intended and, believe me, I'm not making any money out of this. Unfortunately. And about the author: I'm from Australia. That means your car has a bonnet on the front and a boot at the back and thongs go on your feet, not... well, where a g-string would go. I tend to move around a lot and so far I can list my jobs as; pharmacy assistant, receptionist, digital producer, website creator, jillaroo (check that out in a dictionary... It's always fun to write as occupation and receive the blank stares), and teacher (I taught English... got my kids to say things like 'talk to the hand' and 'build a bridge and get over it'. It was fun.) I don't like being in the one place too long. I can ride a horse, stand up on a surfboard, shoot straight and braid my own hair. Sadly, those are big achievements... I love music, love love love it. Mainly indie but also trip-hop, house (dirty), electronic, experimental, rap, metal, rock, jazz (NO brass instruments) and some shoegaze. Finally, as if I haven't talked enough... A bit about the writing: I'm one of those people who don't plan. I get a sentence, or a scenario in my head and I just write. When I post, it's quite likely I haven't actually read over the chapter before I upload. No, that's not very professional. No, I'm not getting anything out of this except satisfaction at manipulating some characters other people have thought up. Also, I have never, and probably never will have a beta reader so any mistakes you see are completely my own. Feel free to point them out. I started writing for The O.C. then that flame burned out thanks to a crappy season three. Then it was onto Cold Case but I got over that, too. Currently I write for Bones (preferring angst and UST over BB) but that could be short lived if the show keeps going the way it is... I prefer to believe we're back in season two. Like a lot of writers I do have dreams of being a 'real author' with a novel that has my name on it (or a pseudonym) but I have 206 lazy bones in my body. Fanfic is like instant gratification - you get your words out to a receiving public and actually get fairly instant access to their thoughts (or those that leave reviews). As always, constructive reviews - actually any reviews at all - are very much coveted but are unnecessary to get me to write more. I will never hold readers ransom by demanding more reviews. I'm lazy and I don't review every story I read, I don't expect other people to either. I'm on twitter if you feel like getting in touch - @jambled. Come tweet. |
