Grüezi, my name is Inspirationally Red. ‘Inspirationally?’ the grammar nazis scream: the ‘inspirationally’ comes from how I see myself – seemingly normal but, upon second glance, actually quite odd. The ‘red’ is because red is, of course, my favourite colour.

I am a student, a writer, an artist, an amateur linguist, a historian, a musician and a dreamer. I am also patriotically confused (grew up in Switzerland), residually trilingual, indecisive, pseudo-philosophical and prone to jealousy.

As a child, I lived in Switzerland - I have since returned to the Land Down Under. I speak English, German, Swiss-German and French with varying degrees of fluency.

My whole life as a fanfiction author seems to be a showcase of how dreadfully disorganized I am, saying nothing of my constant switching of pen-names. I started out as Twinleafe, changed to FavourTheSea, considered TheRambles and am now stuck with Inspirationally Red. To this day, you can still find remnants of those names on my older works.

I am relatively comfortable with writing anything that takes my fancy, and am willing to support any pairing/plot depending on how the author portrays it. I would dearly love to spend weeks at a time just writing, yet unfortunately, that annoying denizen known as ‘The Real World’ is constantly tapping at my window. My stories might take longer to finish than expected and probably longer than you dear readers want to wait. But once I’m into a story I enjoy, I will see it through to the end no matter how loudly ‘The Real World’ roars at me, and that’s a promise.
