Reviews for Something Like That
Animevampire1627 chapter 6 . 9/16/2017
This is fantastic, it's really well written and has a unique plot. I really look forward to the next chapter, poor Stork.
ebonypol chapter 6 . 9/24/2013
Loved it :D
empire14 chapter 6 . 8/11/2013
May I just say, you are an amazing writer! I haven't been here (Storm Hawks fandom) for a while, but I have subconsciously always loved Aerrow. I have never given Stork much thought though, until now, he's the paranoid weird guy but your story just gives him character! That's probably what makes your story so much better than all the rest I've seen so far, you keep the characters in character but you don't overdo it, Stork is paranoid and jumpy but there's a reason for it and he can also be heroic and friendly. I hope you know what I mean, if not, tell me and I'll try to explain it better. I came here because you wrote a sequel and I found that one first, I seriously can't wait to read that one next!

heart in a jar chapter 6 . 10/6/2011
that was cool, I liked the insight into Stork's past, you could'v added a little more it kinda felt like there where a few lose ends. But other than that it was pretty good
dharak chapter 1 . 10/5/2011
Great stork centric story. I speak for many Stork fans when i say this story fits him as the main character perfectly.

Gyroscope chapter 6 . 10/4/2011
This has to be the first time I have seen someone write perfectly in Stork's perspective. Usually other authors ( me included, my story is coming soon if your wondering) rant on about his paranoia, but they never go into depth like you. It is amazing how you twisted a lovely combination of vocabulary to create such a masterpiece of writing. The idea is quite good, except it is somewhat cliche i.e. It was all just a dream.

This is so ironic since my writing couldn't be any better than yours. I shouldn't critize too much, but overall it is a lovely story.
Grendel-the-Hutt chapter 6 . 10/2/2011
Oh, hell YES. Finally, a story that doesn't make Cyclonis look like a total b*tch. And I really like how this story could be an actual episode too. Very canon, and very in-character, along with a very plausible explanation for Dark Ace's betrayal.

Keep writing, I'd like to see more of your work!
Katrina Marie Lupin chapter 6 . 10/1/2011
Oh ho ho! - We have a Whovian. (Man, there are so mainly parallels to be made between Stork and the Doc... the ships are just the easiest.)

...all in all, a LOVELY story! Adding such a dark history for Stork is most excellent, and fits in well. Love a tragic history, and our unsung hero saving the day. Needs must be dark, but you truly gave it justice - astounding writing. Keep it up!
Dotskip317 chapter 6 . 9/30/2011
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Really. I want to leave you a fabulous, in-depth review (something you richly deserve) but I have not slept in two days and do not trust myself to be coherent right now. My apologies. I truly enjoyed this, and I hope to hear more from you. Thank you for giving us this.

Love.

Novalia1001 chapter 6 . 9/30/2011
So the hero is still...wow. There are just so many questions...wow. You're good. I kind of agree with ThingWithNoTalent as it regards Stork opening up a little more, but then again, I like this sort of "unfinished" ending. It's...eerily charming. It sort of says that there's a lot of room for recovery, so don't rush it. I like it.
Thing With No Talent chapter 6 . 9/29/2011
That was fantastic. Heart-stopping, but epic. The whipping was described vividly, giving a real impression of how horrible it actually is to be struck with one (something easy to underestimate if you've only seen or heard about it). Stork's defiance mixed with terror was beautifully portrayed, and his retorts to Cyclonis carried a nice sting to them, so typical of him even in the midst of peril. All in all, the ending of the dream itself was very satisfying.

It would have been nice for Stork to have a little more in the way of comfort at the end, though, after going through all that. I know how difficult he can be with admitting problems, but his teammates - or at least Aerrow and Piper - surely know him well enough to know better by now. What really sucks is that he'll probably never tell them. He'll add it to his list of nightmares and just... live with it. Sigh. Realistic, but disappointing. It is, however, in character.

Thanks for stopping by and reviewing my fics, btw. Reviews are hard to come by and always appreciated, I'm sure you'll agree.
Novalia1001 chapter 5 . 9/23/2011
This is truly a nightmare. I've never read anything that made me want to keep being scared. That's a good thing!
