The muse has popped its head out! Hallelujah! I'm working on several stories simultaneously and trying to update them because I know how much it sucks to not have closure. LOL Bear with me please, but there are updates coming. Maybe not today or tomorrow. But in the next few weeks.

I'm having lots of fun writing and reading the many wonderful fics on FF. Alas, I'm just a hopeless romantic.

And, yeah, when I first checked out FF, I thought it would be a very brief, passing fancy, so I typed "Zevgirl" for lack of anything more creative. I would change it to Zevwoman, but that sounds even more lame. Oh well.

I welcome comments, questions or just random thoughts. When there are long pauses between chapters, it doesn't mean I've stopped with a story. It just means the muse has other ideas and/or RL is getting in the way. Unless it says "stalled" next to a story, consider it still active. As of July 2015: I am very busy with RL still, so the writing has slowed a lot.

A Sense of Duty: Complete. First foray into FF, ever. Alistair/Elissa/Zevran triangle where Elissa is the unhappy Queen married to Alistair as King.

Duty's Burden: Complete. Follows Elissa and Zevran into Awakening story. Some Elissa/Zevran/Nathaniel. Trying to think outside the box with this one.

I adore Seneschal Bran, I love Zevran, Brynjolf can call me "Lass" any time he wants to, and my favorite Drell, Thane, whispers "Siha" in my ear on a regular basis. Spirits, even the Illusive Man has interested the muse lately. As a result:

Currently working on: Release from the Chains - f!Hawke/Sebastian, f!Hawke/Bran - Story set post explosion in Kirkwall, and then leading to the retaking of Starkhaven. My plot has changed and I now have Bran featuring heavily. I also expect to have Aveline, Fenris, Isabela, Varric, and Merrill mixed in the story too, for at least some of it.

Currently working on: Release from the Chains: Missing Links - A series of one-shots that will include some moments between Finola and the people in her life, most of which are likely to be about Bran and Sebastian and take place during critical moments in the game. It will also include some back-story and future-story showing moments that brought Bran and Finola closer together, as well as moments between Finola and Sebastian that complicated their relationship.

Currently working on: Release from the Chains: Prompted - These will be prompt-based or ideas that spring up at the oddest times and set in the Release from the Chains DA2 universe. They are primarily for back-story, character development and motivations, and as a writing exercise. Most will feature Finola Hawke, Seneschal Bran and Sebastian Vael, but other characters will be here too. Although this started out with an M-rated ficlet, they will not all be racy, but the M rating will remain, of course.

Currently working on: A New Kind of Family - An Elder Scrolls, Skyrim story. f!Nord Dragonborn/Brynjolf - The story will center mainly on the Thieves Guild quests and little else as far as the full game plot, but that could change. Brynjolf owns a piece of my heart now as well.

Currently working on: Office Parties Are for Chumps - Modern-day AU f!Hawke and assorted DA2 characters featured. So I had a dream about a modern-day Kirkwall and this is what came out of that dream. I just had to get this down because it fascinated me so much. Okay, so it will be longer than I first thought. Not sure where it's going. Who knows?

Currently working on: Whispers into the Tide - "It is not your job to watch over my condition, Siha. If I die from a bullet to the head while you are covering me, then perhaps you have failed in your responsibilities, but this disease is beyond your control. You must accept that." But failure was not an option for Elizabeth Shepard. Begins after helping Thane locate his son in ME2. f!Shepard/Thane

Currently working on: More than Time and Money - Every now and then he touched her, his hand brushing her arm or legs, making intimate contact, and the feelings she'd thought were under control would bubble to the surface. Fear, lust, anxiety, and affection all mingled together with the power of a supernova, like a cleansing fire, healing yet all-consuming. ME2, f!Shepard/illusive Man.

Currently working on: Where the Lover Never Leaves - Short ficlets or drabbles, non-chronological, involving f!Shepard, her friends, and her lover, Thane Krios. Will mostly be set in ME2 and 3. This is not Elizabeth Shepard from my other story, Whispers into the Tide.

Currently working on: The Next Breath - Elsa Shepard's last known location was near the Citadel beam with Hammer Company, though word was she'd made it up into the Citadel. Major Coats had seen a few miracles in his lifetime already. When an N7 soldier is found amid the rubble on the Citadel, Coats wonders if this could be another miracle. f!Shepard/Major Coats.

When will it end? Can't stop adding new stories to the mix...
