you do better on the character study aspect than the politics

nice job on the growing divide between alistair and elissa, i do look forward to seeing his reaction when he learns about a relationship between elissa and loghain though

i suppose its best that Elissa is trying to stay out of politics, mine tend to be to ambitious to do so

I don't usually review in the middle of stories, but I really, really liked this chapter. I adore the interactions between Alistair and Elissa even though they're so heartbreaking. Also, Teagan! How adorable he is even if a little awkward. And now I endeavor to continue reading your fantastic trilogy!

This is the best work of literature I have read all year. Probably the best fanfiction I have read at all, and definitely surpassing in its skill many published books I've purchased.

Your language is so incredible. The way you're writing makes me long for this world, for these characters. Every word is impeccable and precise and like a little perfection in itself. Every chapter is a song.

The emotions you capture are beautiful. All the subtle hints that were leading to this finale, with such a painful excruciating slowness. I was crying with frustration over Chapter 26, because they came so close to finally resolving this tight knot of emotions and again, nothing! And it was just heartbreaking how with knowing each other so well they still didn't see the most important part. It was pure torture! And I loved it! I loved every second you prolonged it, because nothing conveys a love story with more beauty than a trial of time. They start off as enemies, similar in many ways and becoming understanding of each other as their friendship grows, but they are still so mismatched, and there is the age difference, and many other obstacles, and I love how you've worked to overcome those, to make them fall in love and make us all believe in the reality of this, because in the end they are two halves of one thing, and I cannot imagine them without each other.

And, of course, I bow to the captivating plot you've woven here, involving all the Orlesians and the Warden business and the slight hints the game gave us. I'm tingling with anticipation as I write this, eager to begin reading the 3rd part.

But even the 2nd part alone was a wonderful journey, and I thank you for it.

What an amazing story. Loved it to pieces. When's the next series going to start?

Poor Elissa, what a mess lol. She'll rise to the occasion and those of her companions (old and new) who are able will assist her I'm sure as this is a threat that will overtake all of Thedas not just Orlais or Fereldan.

Thank you so much for this wonderful story! I enjoyed this so much - it had me on the edge of my seat, and near tears, and the romance is SO incredibly well-written (as is the smut). Great characterizations, and everything works perfectly with the game canon (and oh how I wish I really could have had Loghain as a companion in "Awakening"). Really, really well done.

One good thing about not having read this when it was first published, I didn't have to wait for sexy times. The end of the chapter, the repetition in 3's ("They find each other in the"), this is a particular weakness of mine and a way of writing that I just love. It just so added to the scene we all knew was coming. Love it!

I have to say the favorite part of this chapter for me was the bit at the end with Nathaniel. Shocker, I know. You've captured him perfectly in my mind and how he would react at that stage of things with Elissa. And her answer to his question? Perfect.
