Ah! I should start off with myself

I'm twenty one years old

I'm from Sheffield, which is far away from London. I hate their accents.

I got into Anime since I was 11 years old. Sonic X used to come on a lot on Jetix. Earlier shows like Sailor moon and Cardcaptors (Cardcaptor Sakura) are also reasons I got into anime.

My favourite genres: Comedy (Especially Black/Dark comedy), Romance (this really depends), Drama, slice of life (I LOVE these), Light Yaoi (I'm alright with hardcore Yaoi as long as it's not RAPE for god's sakes.) , Light Yuri, fluff.

My least favourite genre: Horror, Rape, crime

My preferable type of anime/manga style is Shounen, NOT SHOUJO. OH DEAR LORD THE RIDICULOUSLY HUMONGOUS EYES ON SOME CHARACTERS. UGHH NOT NEEDED. (Although Fruits Basket is the only exception). Seinen too.

While I'm at it, I might as well say that I am obsessed with Tsundere characters. I like Tsundere guys and girls!

My top games I like to play are the Uncharted Series, Sonic, Dynasty Warriors, Rayman, Blur, Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi. There are others but I can't put my finger on them now.

I'm currently learning Japanese (Second year) for four years.

Evolution:

As mentioned above, I am a Sonic the hedgehog fan first before anime really. Of course I was born when the first season of Pokemon and Sailor Moon aired and stuff so I've loved Anime as little youth.

Right, back to Sonic.

Sonic Adventure and Sonic Heroes had what started my liking for that blue hog and pals and I started to draw. Yup! Sonic is the reason why I became an artist. In secondary School I found new friends who told me about anime, and I purchased my first manga 'Love Hina' (To be accurate I played the Dating Sim first then watched the anime, then collected the Manga)

The main Manga books I got into were Love Hina and Fruits Basket. Because of them I was highly influenced into Romantic Shoujo things.

...Then I grew out of that and aimed for more perverted stuff, mostly Harem (Rosario Vampire was my guilty pleasure at the time)

Oh shit I'm trailing too much.

Four years ago I was mainly into Slice of Life anime, I still am but not as much. Lucky Star, A Channel, Hidamari Sketch, K-ON and Kimi to Boku, I'm looking at you five.

Anyway, now I'm into Comedy and Shounen anime, especially the Black comedy kinds. There are loads I have yet to see, I believe full metal panic is one of them, not sure. Also I am into Yaoi, so much that it hurts but I will not openly obsess about it. I'm a little weird when it comes to this topic; I don't like it when people force couples in a obviously straight anime to be in a Yaoi relationship, yeah I know wtf right?

Also I want to add that I don't really like popular Anime and manga that much. I know this is weird but please let me explain. To me it feels like I like every popular stuff that everyone else is into, then it feels like I am following a crowd and I don't like that. So I always watch the anime that is appealing but rarely people talk about it like, Kiniro Mosaic and stuff. Sorry does this make any sense? I mean like, anime that people around the world knows because it's so popular. I'm not sure why that makes me mad, but I guess its because I feel like the world doesnt appreciate what's behind stuff like Naruto...Hmm, yeah I'm weird.

So basically, I am a leader, not a follower.

Tsukkomi - Ohhh yess, these are my ultimate favourites, tied with Tsundere of course. Tsukkomi characters are the main solid reason I've gotten into Comedy Shounen anime. I love how fast they retort to the Boke(Slow/Dumb/Idiot) characters. Some noticeable ones I have watched/read are:

I don't like overly dramatic Type A Tsunderes that beat the protagonists for a dumb reason (Yeah I'm looking at you Louise) but I guess I like Type Bs more...Not sure, depends on the character really. I will say this though, I'm not a fan of Kugimiya Rie's Tsundere loli voice (Shana/Louise/Taiga/Nagi/Aria) but I'll give it a try whenever I get round to watching those series.
