Author has written 40 stories for Warriors, My Sister's Keeper, Jodi Picoult, Race to Witch Mountain, Harry Potter, Tron, Kung Fu Panda, Avengers, Hansel & Gretel, Downton Abbey, and Maleficent. THE LATEST Maleficent One-Shot Broken Wings, Broken Heart - It's only after Diaval's wings are broken that Maleficent realizes he's so much more than her wings. (AU) Downton Abbey Multi-Chapter Amiens, 1918 - "Every color at the front is faded, and he finds himself struggling more and more, with every day that passes, to remember what they really look like. She's the only thing that he recalls in vivid color, and that's only because she visits his dreams every night." In which Tom Branson goes to war, changing his relationship with Lady Sybil forever. (Companion to Ripon, 1914). ON HOLD One-Shot Ripon, 1914 - "The man lunges. She screams. He feels a sudden, sharp pain in his stomach, but he grinds his teeth against the howl building in the back of his throat." In which Tom Branson is injured protecting Lady Sybil Crawley at the counting of the vote in Ripon, forcing them both to confront their feelings for each other. The Avengers Multi-Chapter Hide & Seek - "But you have to be very quiet," Clint whispers, trying to hide his fear. He curses himself silently when his voice cracks. "Okay? You can't make a sound. If you do, you'll lose the game." Clint fights to protect his children from an intruder bent on punishing the archer for his sins. For his kid's sake, he makes hiding from the intruder into a game, a simple game of hide and seek. But the stakes are much higher than that, and he knows it. Set after Age of Ultron. COMPLETE An Accidental Hero - Plagued by guilt after the battle of Manhattan, Clint returns to S.H.I.E.L.D. and takes on a string of increasingly dangerous solo missions as a sniper. He refuses to return home to his family and won't entertain any requests to join the Avengers, despite Fury and Natasha's attempts to reason with him. Who will convince him that he's a hero, not a monster? Set between The Avengers and Captain America Winter Soldier. Note: this piece can be viewed as a stand alone or as a precursor to Hide & Seek. DISCONTINUED 5 Times Clint Slipped Into Daddy Mode In Front of the Avengers... - ... and the one time they found out he actually IS a father. 500-word-or-less, nonlinear vignettes featuring times Clint accidentally acted like a father in front of one of his teammates. All will be set between The Avengers and Age of Ultron. COMPLETE Blinded - "When Clint finally manages to pry open his eyes, he can't see. He can't remember what happened, and he's not exactly sure where he is." In which Clint is left blinded after a mission gone horribly wrong and the Avengers come together by trying to save their archer. Set shortly after The Avengers. DISCONTINUED One-Shot Distance - Before the wedding, Natasha could never picture Clint in a chapel, in a suit with a bright purple tie, standing at the altar with tears clouding his normally alert eyes. He didn't seem the type to fall in love, and neither did she. A pre-Avengers drabble inspired by Christina Perri and Jason Mraz’s “Distance.” Clintasha with a twist. Unexpected Absolution - The archer is silent. She feels the conflict raging within him as he struggles under the weight of the absolution he never asked for, never wanted and never expected to be so freely given. She knows that, in time, he'll accept. And then he says something she never saw coming. After the battle in Sokovia, Wanda Maximoff encounters Clint Barton alone in a back hallway of the helicarrier. After discovering that he is a father, she finds it in her heart to forgive him for her twin's death and gains something she never thought she would have again. Stringing This Bow - Clint never thought he’d be that dad. He told himself, when Lila started dating, he’d be okay with it. But, when that day finally comes, just a half month after Lila turned 16, Clint decides he won’t just trust the new man in town to do the right thing. He’ll make sure he does it. Story inspired by Rodney Atkins's "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)." Because who can't see Clint one day putting the fear of God into Lila's first boyfriend? The Sunroom - Clint always left something unfinished. It was a ritual he started after Cooper was born ... And this time, he had promised Laura a sunroom. A whole sunroom. He could picture it now; he would hang up his bow and be the husband Laura deserved, the father he should have been long ago. Alternate ending to Age of Ultron. Not Fast Enough - Pietro was not afraid of death. He had faced it more than his fair share over the course of his short life, and that was before he could outrun it if he tried. When he saw the ship speeding towards the archer and the boy, he knew that he could save them, and he didn't hesitate. Alternate ending to Age of Ultron. Note: This story was inspired by, and can be considered a companion piece to, The Sunroom, but it can also be read as a stand alone. The Glue That Binds Us - Clint was falling. He was falling and there was nothing he could do about it. He'd been hit in the side with some kind of laser ray. He'd been pushed off a building. His bow, and his ear piece, had been both knocked away. It just wasn't his day, apparently. Or the time Clint fell off a building and brought the team together in the process. Set between The Avengers and Age of Ultron, inspired by a certain quote from Natasha in Age of Ultron. Stage Four - When Laura finally breaks down the night before he's scheduled to leave, Clint reminds her of what she told him before he went off to war with Ultron. Holding her close, not wanting to let go even though he knows he'll have to soon, he whispers, "If I'm not going to get to be here to be their dad at least I can help save their world." After Clint is diagnosed with cancer, he volunteers to go on a mission he likely won't return from. Set years after Age of Ultron. Slightly AU. Trust - Romanoff says he trusts too easily and it will get him killed one day. Clint only smiles and tells her it will save him, and it already has. A story about how Clint and Natasha became SHIELD's top team and how they finally got on a first-name basis. Set before The Avengers, in the early days of their partnership. Can be Clintasha if you want to read it that way. Birds of a Feather - Clint blames himself for the kid's death. Since Pietro's funeral, he hasn't left the roof of Avengers Tower. Even though he doesn't know the archer all that well, Sam thinks that he might be able to help, and he has to try. A whole lot of fluff with a dash of angst. Friendship. Background Clint/Laura. Manners - "It sounds crazy, doesn't it? Especially after everything they've done. But…but I don't think they know any better. I know I didn't." In which Clint decides to give Pietro and Wanda a second chance, like he was given many, many years ago by Fury, with a little help from his wife. Set during Age of Ultron. (Complete for now but may become a two-shot) Stuck in a Tree - But, seriously, did it have to be a tree? The last thing Clint remembers, he was clinging to some flying snowmobile-looking thing the baddies of the week were zipping around on. Now, he's hanging upside down in a tree about 15 or 20 feet from the ground. But he doesn't need help. (Lucky for him, Darcy doesn't believe him.) Inspired by a scene in Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters because Jeremy Renner's Hansel is so similar to his Clint. Underestimate Me (I Dare You) - They'll learn it's very, very dangerous to underestimate them. Crossover with three other movies, featuring Hansel from Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters, William Brandt from Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, Aaron Cross from Bourne Legacy and Clint Barton. Each section is meant to be of similar length and is canon compliant. Pull No Punches - Later, she’ll find out Hill asked him to do it, pulled him out of retirement because they needed an inside man and he was the only one who hadn’t picked a side. Later, she’ll find out he agreed to it because he wanted to protect them, couldn’t sit by as his teammates, his family, tore each other apart. Later, she’ll find out Steve began to suspect he wasn’t in Stark’s pocket when an arrow clipped his ear and then harmlessly buried itself in the concrete pillar behind him. But later is too late. Inspired by the Civil War trailer released in late August, 2015. Likely AU. [Because I forgot to put this message in all of my Avengers stories... I obviously don't own the Avengers. But I DO own my stories.] Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters Multi-Chapter Dust to Dust - It's another day, and they're in another town to hunt another witch (or two or ten, it's never just one). Except everything has changed since Trier, and Hansel doesn't know how much longer he'll be able to protect Gretel from the evils of their world. His condition is worsening, and the witch hunting business isn't as kind as it once was. Set years after Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters. COMPLETE Tron Multi-Chapter The Fourth - A Tron: Legacy rewrite featuring Ram (and the rest of your favorites of course). Weaving the past and the present together, it examines the relationships between the different characters in depth. Focused mainly on the co-administrators (Flynn, Tron, Clu and Ram) it explains the creation of the Grid and what happened after Clu's take over...and, of course, it's set during the time Clu tricks Sam into coming to the grid! Can Ram save Sam...and Flynn? COMPLETE Portrait of a Program - A series of unconnected one-shots aimed at examining the programs of Tron and Tron Legacy in depth. Will alternate between Tron and Tron Legacy (until the point I run out of programs from either). ON HOLD Finding Something Lost - It's a simple story: a boy trying to find the father he's lost yet again. Or is it really that simple? Running out of options, Sam enlists the help of an unexpected tracking program. But will he find what he's looking for or something far more sinister? DISCONTINUED One-Shot Survivor - A one-shot about the death of one of the least appreciated characters in Tron: Ram. Discusses in depth his feelings about the Users and his purpose, his "life" in the Game Grid, etc. All too human - A one-shot also focused on Ram's death, this time from the perspective of Kevin Flynn. Discusses in depth his feelings about the relationship between programs and Users, programs themselves and the system in the context of Ram's death. Note: this is a companion piece to Survivor so you should read both to get the whole picture. Another line on the wall - A one-shot also focused on Ram's death, this time from Tron's perspective. Discusses Tron's opinion of Ram and his feelings about their friendship. Also discusses his perception of his own identity and purpose in the context of Ram's death and the lesson he learned from him. Note: this is a companion piece to Survivor and All too human so you should read them as well (this one can stand on its own more, but still check them out too). Also, it is sent in between the original movie and Tron: Legacy. U n b r e a k a b l e - "There was only one rule but sometimes rules were made to be broken." When Tron is forced to fight Ram, he must accept the inevitable. But can he de-rezz his friend? And is this what the Users want? Details their impossible friendship. [Because I forgot to put this message in all of my Tron stories... I obviously don't own Tron. But I DO own my stories.] Miscellaneous Multi-Chapter Forgotten - Throughout the movie, we never were able to really hear what was going on in Jesse's head. "Forgotten" attempts to explain Jesse's feelings about his family, himself and, basically, the world around him. Using individual scenes from the movie, you'll be able to understand what Jesse is going through (seeing as how little time is spent focused on him). Disclaimer: this is based on the MOVIE and not the book (so there isn't anything about his drug usage or pyromania - sorry if you liked book Jesse better). DISCONTINUED One-Shot Cheating death...again? - Charlie Weasley is left to face down a Hungarian Horntail with only his trusty Cleansweep Seven and a pistol because his partner left him for dead. Filled with dragon-related angst, a surprising amount of humor, and cute family memories. There's even an EPIC chase scene! Padfoot goes to the pound... - In this fan-fic, Padfoot goes to the pound. It's as simple as that. Written for the people who wanted me to write a fan-fic about Sirius. It's not a serious story and is just for fun; if you like humor, this one is for you! |
