It's a shame this is such an old fic, I would love to have seen so much more after I rediscovered my love for the film quite recently! If the author happens to be still around, this is truly amazing, I loved every bit of it.

I think going back to the town might be necessary but also set a good stage for the siblings and the mayor and sheriff, this story is awesome, keep it up.

Hi! I know you haven't updated this in a long while, but I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the first few chapters and if you ever decide to continue I'd be very happy :)

Well, you made over a hundred reviews and it certainly took more then a month to get the next chapter up. Seeing as it's been a year and all. But if you do see this, I really love this story. The Hansel whumpage and the sibling bonding is perfect and I like everything you're doing with the sugar sickness. I read this fic where Hansel was captured bc he's kind of like a magical battery for witches (including Gretel) and also bc his blood is useful for some potions. Anyway he's there for ages, like a week or so and this witch is carving him up, leaving him strapped to a bench. He knows that Gretel isn't coming for him (I think he thinks she's dead or something) and he just wants to die so the witch can't use him anymore. So he smashes his vials of medicine. Later when Gretel rescues him, he's delirious and confused bc he's lost a lot of blood and he's starving and dehydrated and he fights her when she tries to give him his injection and she realises what he did.

Sorry for that really long review but the moral of the story is that this is great and I hope you come back to it.
