Author has written 4 stories for Naruto. FOX SANNIN Update *06/06/2013: Hullo, hullo, hullo! Now, before you take up your torches and rusty pitchforks to enact some well-deserved classic horror-movie-style retribution on my procrastinating self, let me first clue you in on what I've been up to in recent months. With any luck what I have to say will be interesting enough to convince you to spare this lowly keyboard serf from a long and drawn out death, and if it doesn't then maybe it'll distract you just long enough for me to sneak out the back door. In times fairly recent (last few months), I've been navigating the grim, fog-bound sea that is unemployment, bobbing along in my little dingy whilst nervously avoiding the eyes of the poor unfortunates forever chained to those gods-forsaken isles known as Job-centers. In an attempt to distract myself from the biting cold, the perilous lack of food, and the wailing shrieks of the damned unemployed, I've been looking into maybe, hopefully, kind-of-really-want-to make a career out of telling stories. How cool would that be, eh? Me, sitting on my own private island, penning yet another multi-award winning novel to feed the ravenous imaginations of my forty-bajillion strong army of fans. Oh, the prestige! The power! The giant piggy back! Now, this is a nice dream. A very nice dream. Heck, you may have similar dreams (but not as dreamed-up as mine!). However, looking to making a living out of writing stories has reminded me of another little tidbit that's been festering, like a forgotten chicken mcnugget, in the dusty recesses of my mind. My fanfics. Yeah...whoops... Like that weird, red-headed step-sibling that no-one really talks to, my fanfics have been lurking in the less-traveled sections of my mind palace, debating with the local mice about gourmet cheeses and drawing crude depictions of male anatomy in the dust with their fingers. I've realized that while I'm in the long process of overtaking Jo Rowling as Supreme Awesome-King Master of the Universe Who Also Writes Boss Books; I should kind of make good on those promises of finishing my fanfiction. Now, as you might already know making promises to people on the interwebz (apart from being ill-advised) rarely ends with you making good on that promise. This is good when it's some creepy guy offering to give you ice-cream and sweets if you help him clean out his worryingly dark basement, but when its a promise to awesome people (like those lurking in some of the more brightly lit fanfic forums) who enjoy your work, it kind of sucks balls. Old, wrinkly, rhino balls. But huzzah! I have a solution that I think will interest you and provide me a chance to broadcast myself as a writer. Youtube. Yeah, Youtube. My idea is for a Youtube channel dedicated to this profile and the stories posted on it. On this Youtube page I would post all manner of videos; Q&A's, Book reviews, general writer-talk, etc. On it you can post comments, questions, opinions, book suggestions, whatever you want. Depending on the success of this venture, I may expand into a Facebook page and/or a Twitter account. Maybe even a BLOG! This way I'll be able to maintain a closer relationship with the readers, advertise my work, and learn how to put myself out there more and what with me being a hermit, it would be quite nice to get out more. It's dark in here... So that's it. Apologies for the long wait, promises of getting of my LA-Z-BOY, and the prospect of seeing my Clooney-esque mug squashed into one of those little Youtube video boxes. Wouldn't that be nice? If you want to drop an opinion or a suggestion about the Youtube/Facebook/Twitter idea, ether leave a message in a review (hopefully AFTER the actual review *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*) or PM me. I'd really like to know what you guys think about this and if possible include you in the expansion as much as possible. Oh, and my pen name might change at some point too. Almost forgot about that.
