![]() Author has written 16 stories for Final Fantasy X, Legend of Zelda, Harry Potter, and Naruto. Profile re-write! I'm 21 years old now, coming up on 22, and I still can't write a longfic for my life. Most of my things are gathered on here or on my tumblr or AO3 account, all of which are under the name Serethia. (My tumblr has a few original pieces, but my AO3 is basically just stuff from here). However, all of my fandom pieces are on this site, so it's not reeeaaally necessary to go to those two. The main difference is that on tumblr and AO3 I can get the formatting I really want, which I can't quite do on here. I have a large number of books/games/movies/shows etc. that I read for, but a much smaller number that I'll actually write for, in order of likelihood: Legend of Zelda I tend to write as inspiration strikes me, which varies wildly; I honestly have no idea when I'll put another thing up, and how long or short it will be (but judging from my other stuff, bet on short). And to really put the nail in the coffin: all of my really good ideas are longfic worthy, so I haven't written them in a short thing. I dooo, however, have an idea, so we'll see where that goes. Much more reliable is my favorites list--which actually I oughta read through and see what's still up to standard. If it's in there, it's good (or at least good as of when I read it at 13 years old). So, I got a review on Promise which I wanted to address, but couldn't, because it was left as a Guest review, so I can't reply privately, but I don't want my getting defensive to get in the way of the story, so I figured, compromise. Basically, the first thing I want to say is that my stories, unless I have explicitly stated that they are connected, have no connection to each other. The only stories which should be read while keeping the others in mind are part of the Choice Series, which I have labeled in their summaries (but they are Choose Life, Choose Death, and The Choice is Not Yours). I did indeed say, in Choose Life, that Midna broke the mirror to prevent any more Zants, but truth be told, I believe it was broken to prevent any more Zeldas. The Twili never forced their people into the Light Realm: every usage of the Mirror of Twilight was to send someone from the Light Realm to the Twilight Realm. And it happened so much, they built an entire prison around it. Furthermore, we are never told what happens to the portals. It's not a definitive cut, like breaking the mirror was. They could be gone, they could have been destroyed when the mirror was (though I doubt it), or they could be floating along as always. We don't know, and that leaves it up for grabs to play with. Finally, let the dog have its bone. I have written so much angst in the past few days, and this was something that made me happy. Even if it isn't compliant with canon, even if it isn't what you want to see--in the end, I wrote this for me. Let me (the dog) have my bone (my happy stories). This is really long for a review that isn't even a bad flame ;~; |
