| beckyzoso chapter 4 . 5/24/2015 Oh my gosh! This was amazing! Brilliant! I was sooo sad when Emma left and Killian escaped. He thought she lied! Oh the feels, the feels! (That's the worst for me with stories where Killian is the father and they are separated for so long, I'm glad you didn't make it 11 years. I always imagine it a little less anyway so I don't dwell on poor heartbroken Killian.) Why not tell anyone though? Tell Victor? But I liked how when she was explaining it to him how she said she wasn't thinking straight, grief and fear, desperation and hormones muddling her cognitive abilities. I'm so glad you wrote the epilogue as I was wondering what happened with her parents, brought a nice closure. I did feel that in the epilogue the point of view was a little too shaky though, I wasn't quite sure if it was Emma or Snow at times and had to go back. Other than that this story was brilliantly written. I'm so glad I gave it a go, I was so hesitant with the whole Aladdin thing but was pleasantly surprised. Though I'm still unsure if they grew up in a land similar to the EF or if it was more desert, Aladdin ish. I was so worried she would be pregnant with Nathan's child - Nathan Nate Neal kind of thing. I loved the image of Killian's knuckles turning while holding his wrist. Stellar writing. And I was seething with jealousy for Emma too, ugh Killian you dolt. I imagined the count to be Rumple even though you didn't say it. And I loved Julia in the rafters finding Killian. You made her a perfect combo of them both; brave and adventurous. I'm still unsure about what crimes Killian's father committed, I'm thinking raped his mother? Or a friend of Killian's? Either way I liked the whole dad scene and the "tell me you love me" afterwards. (Im a sucker for broken, vulnerable Killian, just makes my heart melt.) Splendid writing, thanks so much for writing! I have scoured good captain swan fics for the longest time and only a few stick out and even though the ones I end up liking are pretty good, I never bother reviewing them but with this one I couldn't resist cause it was absolutely enthralling and amazing and wow. I adored the character of Julia and aww now im just imagining captain swan in season 6 with a daughter 3 |
