Author has written 24 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, D N Angel, Card Captor Sakura, Naruto, Harry Potter, Dragon Ball Z, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Hello, I'm ClockRepair! I abuse commas in my stories and make horrible grammatical mistakes from time to time. I've been uploading fanfic onto this site since 2006 and I've been a frequent reader even before then. It was Fullmetal Alchemist that pulled me in, but it was Naruto that made me stay. Even though the Naruto canon has left me disappointed, it is the fandom that keeps my love for the series alive. My earlier works make me cringe, but I'm still proud of them nonetheless. My schedule has been pretty inconsistent with long stretches of silence, then I'll have times where I can't stop posting. It seems like 2009 and 2020 are my Renaissance periods. Fun fact: ClockRepair is my third username on this site and the one that has stuck. I first started out with BlueRosexoxo (so cringe-y) when I first joined and then switched over to SpandexTree. I don't know why I didn't think SpandexTree was fitting anymore, but I eventually changed it to ClockRepair and the name has stuck since at least 2009. I got the idea randomly when I remembered seeing a sign advertising watch repairs. I didn't think WatchRepair sounded very attractive so I swapped out "watch" for "clock" and that's how my username came to be. Thank you to the Naruto readers who have left the loveliest reviews. When I was younger, I would look forward to going home so I could read fanfiction because I know there would be some good stories to lighten up my mood. You have no idea how weird it's been knowing that I could have offered the same relief for someone else. My time here has been a humbling experience. I have moved my better stories onto Archive of Our Own. Don't worry because I'll always post my stories here. My username is still ClockRepair and I still have the same icon of a paper camel with a clown wig. I honestly don't remember how that picture became my icon. At this point, I'm too afraid of changing it since I think a lot of readers would recognize me by it now. Thanks for stopping by. |
