My take on Crack pairings

Some of you folks may have noticed that most, if not all, of the pairings I support (SasuHina, DraMione, SiriusHermione, and to some extent SnapeHermione, SesKag, UlquiHime, ItaHina, ItaSaku, KakaSaku, Zutara...you get the drift) are all crack pairings. Yes, people, no matter how some of us insist otherwise (and dream, and fantasize, and well, yeah), these pairings are NOT canon. Then again, WHO CARES right?

Anyway, I digress.

I don't have anything against canon pairings, in fact I'm a big supporter of some of them BUT, and this is the catch, where's the the fun in THAT?

We all know canon pairings would all end up together anyway because they're CANON so I don't see much point in reading a story that's a done deal (this is just my opinion anyway). I much prefer writing and reading about a pairing that's almost impossible to happen.

And I guess for me, that's the whole shebang of reading a romance; the suspense. I want to keep wondering how they would meet, how they would fall in love, or why they would in the first place.

But this is just me. Everyone has their own opinions. To each his own I suppose.
