i enjoyed reading this story! There were chapters that me smiling and going 'awwww' and other chapters that actually had me giggling a bit.

This turned into a monster of a fic real quick, huh?

I’m not sure what else to say other than thank you. This is easily going to be a fanfic I keep coming back to, over and over and over again. It’s everything I’d hoped would happen and more. I felt like I was 15 again, so engrossed in the words and world that I couldn’t put the story down. I ate up every word like I couldn’t get enough. It’s as nostalgic as it is embarrassing! I screeched, I did the quick throw of my phone to take a walk before I jumped right back in- the whole nine yards!

I appreciate how much attention and care you put into developing their relationship naturally and healthily. It was such a pleasant surprise to not only read about how they approached consent and sexual readiness but to have the story explore Ulquiorra becoming an individual of his own, entirely separate from his connection with Orihime. I love stories that allow love to be the motivation for recovery, not the answer. I laughed at Urahara taking Ulquiorra under his wing and I ADORED the tamogatchis! Seriously, this was such a delight to read. Thank you.

I have read and re-read this chapter 3 times now & even though it hasn't been updated since 2015 (before the manga ended), it still makes a very plausible spin-off. I looked at other Grimmjow/Karin stuff & could only get thru one where he definitely was acting opposite to his character & Karin was too young, making it creepy. This one is just perfect. It's a real contrast between the loud, macho Espada 6 & quiet, observant Ulquiorra. I keep thinking how Orihime & Ulquiorra's wedding would be like & Ulquiorra torn between inviting him (as he, Nel & Tier are the only people that are the closest equivalent to family) or risking Grimmjow getting into the booze & going after Ichigo. I haven't read the manga, only what I can find online & he could have survived with Urahara. I wish the rest of the series would be animated & the end redone-& bring back Ulquiorra! I could really envision Tell Yourself as a spin-off dramedy anime. Really well done

After reading your book I absolutely, irrevocably am in love with Ulquiorra & despise his not coming back in the manga & anime, especially when other (far lesser) arrancars were. I laughed like crazy & cried myself stupid. You are a very good writer. I'm from Canada & until this year hadn't seen Bleach after the Bount arc as YTV dumped it & Naruto from their schedules. I haven't read the manga so I read up from Wikipedia, fan wiki, whatever to find up what's up ahead. I have my own storyline in my head to bring Ulquiorra back (he wasn't a normal hollow, had lived an extremely tragic previous existence where he had known Orihime, & had been brought back by his disgraced aristocratic shinigami mother with Visored Hachi & Kurotsuchi's assistance. Urahara was his unwilling father, his mon had done what Lyssa did to Littlefinger in game of Thrones, with the Hogyoku adding to the mix). Anyways had been looking up UlqiHime stuff when I came across this fanfic. Only the odd quibble, mainly would Byakuya EVER sanction a relationship between Rukia & a human/hollow/quincy substitute soul reaper? I can see him having a stroke. Also I think Isshun's reaction to Ulquiorra's admitting to engaging in bedroom antics too deadpan. I can see him slapping Ulquiorra's back saying "Way 2 go! Can't believe it took you this long, you know, living with such a hottie!" & Ulquiorra would blast him out the window with a bala, then walk away, turn back & say he would like to be referred to a different doctor. Something like that. The buildup of the romance was way more believable then some Youtube vids where Orihime wants to stick her tongue down his throat almost as soon as he threatens her for not eating! Some people are pervs! What woud Ulquiorra know about that stuff anyways, unless Aizen or Ichimaru brought porn movies to Hueco Mundo. Grimmjow & Nnoitra would definitely binge-watch that. Grimmjow is hilarious & the pairing with Karin intriguiging. I'm going to look for stuff on that. I looked up how the manga ended so I know he dies & Orihime marries Ichigo & Rukia marries Renji (more palatable to Byakuya but still scandalous to his honour). I don't like that. I'm kind of the 'give the cute bad guy a second chance if he shows an ounce of humanity' person. I hated Sesshomaru at the start of Inuyasha but came to forgive him when he resurrected, adopted & protected little Rin. Now I have a story where he's secretly in love with a half-demon serving girl in his uncle's employ. Who can create & ride whirlwinds with a whip. & is wanted by every male-human or demon-in the district. As someone into action movies & heavy metal, sappy stories is not something people would expect of me. But your story has inspired me 2 take it up again after a looong time. & fall in hopelessly in love with a cartoon character. Those 2 dirty chapters were also made me wish Ulquiorra would fly to my window & carry me off. All the best with your career. You are very talented.

Such excellent writing and plot development

I’ve never encountered a story where a series of disjointed prompts could flow this well. You really did a good job with Orihime’s personality, a lot of people don’t bother to write anything regarding her colorful imagination but it was on full amusing display in this one. I quickly found it impossible to make a coherent review that manages to also encompass all the great moments that need to be mentioned; that said I ended up deciding to simply include a few of my favorite chapter moments.

C.27 - Oh my god, I’ve never considered what would happen if Ulquiorra ate the hollow bait and the possibility of him forming an addiction. Possibly one of the best one-shot plot concepts, for the originality alone.

Ch.33 - The misunderstanding at the Tanabata festival nearly killed me, I suppose death by laughter isn't such a bad way to go.

C.11&48 - I loved the choice you made for their meeting, it fit perfectly with Orihime’s memories in the rain poem which in itself works perfectly for this pairing.

C.51 -Ulquiorra and Orihime watching Beauty and the Beast was something I hadn't known I needed in my life.

C.100 - I’ve got to say, I don’t think you could have come up with a better or more fulfilling ending to this. Believe it or not, this is the first full-length Ulquiorra/Orihime story I’ve found and I’m so thankful that someone managed to complete one. Especially given the fact that you weren’t exaggerating when you said that you’d covered just about every scenario.

I really enjoyed this series. I think you are a really awesome writer. Thank you for taking time out of your days to write this series. I really loved it especially since it was centered around my favorite Bleach characters. I look forward to reading another story written by you!
