Starting this whole thing anew. I've been lurking in the background of this site for a few years now and thought it was high time that this page be re-visited.

Twenty-something Canadian who loves music, space, books, and travel. Currently learning how to adult, and not quite failing. My higher level education involves brains and computers. I'm a bit of a fandom hopper.

About My Stories

Those of you who know me from my earlier years may notice a difference in the stories posted below. Alas I have finally moved my Stargate Atlantis fic to a private folder. Quite frankly I didn't want to inflict it on others for any longer. I may return to writing in that fandom one day, but for now it shall remain a thing of the past. In the meantime please explore my other fics! While not all of them are excellent (recent = better), I like to think they are readable :).

About My Writing

I write sporadically. When I get a good idea I run with it, but even then it may take a lot for me to actually get it up on the site. There are a ton of stories sitting half finished on my computer. If something is in progress, it will be finished though. One of the benefits about waiting so long to publish is that the story is either completed, or completely planned.

A lot of my writing falls under the tragedy genre. Don't judge! I'm really quite silly! But stylistically, I find death or near-death situations a fantastic way to delve into characters. There's certain things you can learn about how somebody thinks and feels in these situations that you simply can't access anywhere else. Love and fear are two of the most powerful emotions, and love is far more complex in my opinion. Basically, I'm taking the easy road ;).
