I read this fanfic years ago and for some reason never favorited it. A friend pointed it out to me and I recognized it as soon as I opened it. Knowing what was going to happen, the entire story, I simply scanned it, not wanting to cry. My mistake - I teared up anyway, with just the little I read. This story is just as good as I remember it.

Quite possibly the best fic I've ever read in the two years I've been reading FanFiction. Not joking, that's how I described when recommending it to a friend seconds after reading it. I'll admit it, I found this on AO3 first and followed you here after giving kudos, but I just had to review and favorite. :) This was a fantastic job well done. Keep on writing!

Ho-ly CRAP.

Why have I never read this before? You almost had me in tears! Wow...It took a while for me to figure it out and when I did all I could think was 'brilliant'. I don't normaly go for stories were one of them dies but this was extrodinary. Just wow.

I've been reading fanfics for about an year now and this isn't the first one to make me cry. But it is the first one that made me cry about 15 minutes after I finished it. I rebooted my computer to review this coz if any story ever deserves to be appretiated, this one does. Now I'm sitting here at 2 in the morning and all I know is today, you gave me a beautiful lesson. I can never thank you enough for sharing this. This, right here is what the Hardys mean to me, so thank you a million times for making my eyes cry but warming my heart. Few tears lost but a lifelong lesson learnt. Thank you.

Oh man! That was intense! I was hoping he wasn't dead - I'm not a big deathfic fan - but that was so beautifully written. After reading your recent Hardy story I had to see if you'd written anything else. I wasn't disappointed.

Hey! Been I while since I've read Hardy Boys, but man did I love those books. Joe was always my favorite!
