Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter. I'm a voracious reader, and I love this site. I found it 6 years ago, and I have accumulated more than 675 million words read since then. Granted, I reread a lot of my favorites over and over. I posted my first story in Sept. of 2016, and I am working on more. Feel free to review my stories, but no flames! Constructive feedback helps me learn and get better, while flames only make me sad. I am in college, so I don't work on my stories very often, but when I have time, I will read or write, depending on my mood. Thanks go out to all those who have supported my love of reading, and even more to the authors who unwittingly provided me with ammunition for my plans of world domin- I mean, entertainment. Heh heh... AUTHOR UPDATE (Aug 30, '18): So... I'm back! just put up another story, called The Longest Nights, and I put up another new one a few days ago called Heartbreaker. Neither one is in anyway connected to each other, nor to any of my other stories, but that's what is so awesome about writing in your free time I guess. I plan on getting back to my big story at some point, and I am continuing to beat myself up over not getting anything up for, what, 2 years now? Anyways, I have the outline for the next chapter, it is simply a matter of turning it into a typed up chapter. And just so anyone who is interested knows, it's looking to be a good chunk longer than my other chapters, just based off what I have plotted. In other news, I am actually taking a Harry Potter course at uni, dedicated to understanding the "cultural, social, and literary aspects of Harry Potter, and what inspired it and what it has inspired." Should be interesting. As always, I have plenty of little ficlet ideas running around, and I'm certainly open to others, just shoot me a PM. Shout out to Chaos Snow Kitsune, who has given me much material to fuel my Honks!shipping. A New Start: I want to thank everyone who has read my first story. I also want to thank JustePhi for approaching me on doing a French translation! Finally, I wanted to know if people want me to continue this story, or if it is best left as a one-shot. It would probably take a while to see any updates, (the first part took me three months to post, partly out of reluctance to put myself out there, and mostly because I'm a perfectionist, and I didn't want to put anything I wouldn't read on the site) but I am open to keeping working on the story. Finding My Place: Alrighty folks, buckle down for a long one! This will be my first attempt at writing long-term, and the goal is to span several years, going well past the defeat of Voldemort. SPOILER: Voldemort is defeated. Shocking, I know. This is HarryxFleur and starts off darker than I usually like to write, but it will get lighter in later chapters. Also, to all you people reviewing, thanks for the feedback. I'm going to ramp back on the flip-flop POV, but that also means I will need to completely change my current outline and everything I have written up to this point. So in summary, you won't be getting an update for a while. I also have classes, sooo... 2 AM in Paris: Definitely my most enjoyable writing experience with this one. It just seemed to flow, and I had little to no stress hanging over me as I wrote. This is a one-shot, and I don't see myself adding anything to the story anytime soon. Heartbreaker: Currently a one-shot, but I'm considering adding more, perhaps from another character's perspective. That's for later though. The Longest Nights: Tough little story that I've been struggling against for more than a year. Definitely a one-shot, as I don't think I can handle diving back into this mindset anytime soon. Also my newest story, so please let me know what you think. |
