Hello!

I'm Emma! I write mostly Harry Potter and Doctor Who fanfics. I've got... so many Harry Potter fics in progress and two Doctor Who fics in progress. Below is a list of the posted fics and their status as well as a summary of them and maybe a little more info because I do love to drone on about random shit. I'd love to make promises on when I will post things, but let's be honest, I have no fucking clue. The depression is real, my dudes, but I'm trying my best. Not to beg for reviews, but to totally beg for reviews, they help to inspire me and are very welcome and appreciated.

Also- my fics are dark and I will be working on adding trigger warnings where they're needed when I get a moment to, but I'll post them here in the meantime. These aren't all at the same time or in every fic, but I thought I'd post them just to give everyone a head's up. Athair is fairly simple and without trigger warnings so far, but it's also shit so idk, up to you guys.

Trigger Warnings: depression, dissociation, anxiety and other mental health issues, child abuse, kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, gaslighting, domestic abuse, self-harm, nightmares, PTSD, suicidal ideology, and torture.

A lot of those warnings are from The Wolf And The Flower, in particular, so be wary of that fic. That's the one that does have warnings on the relevant chapters, however, so keep that in mind.

I have a few reasons for keeping a similar dark theme in many of my fics but one of them is simply that I want to make the point that this shit happens everywhere. I'm talking about sexual assault in particular. I'm not sure I know a single woman that hasn't been harassed or assaulted in one way or another, including myself, and one way to get my fury out about that is to include it in my fics. I'm very sorry if that triggers you, I know it's possible, so be careful. Thank you for understanding.

Trouble Is A Friend - In Progress

A rewrite of my first fic, A Marauder Hopeful And His Most Logical Friend. That fic was written originally as a Fred/Hermione pairing, but I got... distracted as you'll see if you take a look at it. I had fully planned to kill Regulus and when I couldn't bring myself to do it, I abandoned the project. The rewrite is generally the same: Soon after Malfoy Manor, Hermione and Fred are sent back in time to live with the Marauders in their sixth year of school. While there, Hermione takes the name Mia Potter and begins collecting Death Eater friends. They work hard to keep her alive to send them back to the future where the war is at its end - the final battle in their sights.

Family Of Distortion - In Progress

Okay, this one is... interesting. I have, over the course of about two years, written four different versions of this, all at least 50k words. I have just started this one but I really like it so I thought, fuck it, I'll post it. I haven't planned it fully or what parts of the others will be involved but I'll tell you what I know so far and update when I plan more. Belle Potter is an AU Hermione that is the adopted twin sister of Harry, though they don't know she's adopted. She's actually a Black - Cassiopeia Narcissa Black, the daughter of Orion and Walburga who was meant to be taken by Voldemort to make up for the loss of Regulus, who was fully loyal to her the minute she was born. Instead of letting her be taken, Orion faked her death and gave her to James and Lily to become Harry's twin sister, Belle. She was too recognizable, so she was changed to look like Lily. The twins join Slytherin and began quickly taking control of their lives as the war blooms around them.

Please forgive me for mistakes in this one. It's new but also got bits and pieces of the old versions and I'm working without a beta, so I do miss things sometimes. I'm trying my best to catch and correct them as I find them.

Alexia Potter's Fantastical Trip To The Past - In Progress

My baby. The light of my life. The one that I keep getting stuck on. This fic is also Hermione based - let's be real, almost all of my Harry Potter fics are Hermione based. This fic sees Hermione, after the final battle, ready to fucking yeet Dumbledore's portrait into the Black Lake - and by that, I mean she went to yell at his portrait. It was asleep, however, and she was met with Snape, who didn't die. He told her about his friend, Alexia Potter, and then promptly sent Hermione to the past to become that girl. Straight from the war, she finds it difficult to settle in and accept where she is. She becomes James Potter's twin sister and goes to school with him, uniting the Marauders and becoming one herself while befriending multiple Slytherins as well as dating them.

Edit: my guys. I have gone through hell trying to figure out this pairing. Originally, it was Hermione/Sirius. Then, I sort of fell in love with Hermione/Lucius, but that isn't practical, so I moved onto Hermione/Regulus, but... I mean, look at all my other fics. Too much of that. And then I sort of gave Dolohov a whole character instead of just Big Evil Guy, and so what I'm trying to say is, as of now (currently stuck on writing chapter 54) the end goal is Hermione/Dolohov.

Also holy shit?? As I said, this is my favorite fic I've written and wow. There's so much of it. 340K words right now?? And I'm close to the end, I think. Sort of. That's why I'm lowkey stuck right now, but whatever. I'll get through it, and I'll do my best to give it the ending it deserves.

(I'm a sentimental lil hoe though so I'll probably write one shots or short little fics later on when I miss these characters, so keep an eye out for those.)

Athair - In Progress/To Be Rewritten

Let me preface this by saying I know this is all sorts of fucked up and I will fix it when I rewrite it. Anyway, the golden trio is sent back to the founder's time and are stuck there where they're taken in by the founders and Salazar Slytherin adopts Harry for a cover. When the founders find out about everything they've gone through, they send the trio to school and train them for the eventual war and plan for what will happen when they return to their own time - if they return to their own time.

The Wolf And The Flower - in Progress/Paused

Rose's life in the other universe comes to an end and the TARDIS pulls her back to her nineteen-year-old body to rewrite the timeline. She sets to work, but it doesn't take the Doctor long to realize that something about her is off. When he confronts her, everything changes and she knows there's no going back.

A Marauder Hopeful And His Most Logical Friend - Abandoned/Being Rewritten

Hermione and Fred go back to 1976 after Dumbledore dies and spend time with the Marauders. Hermione collects Death Eaters, falls in love with one, and does her best to avoid being killed in a time that is not her own. Fred basically does nothing because I quickly became disinterested with him and wouldn't be in the rewrite if I wasn't so lazy and he hadn't put so many things in motion but whatever.

The Multiple Trios Dilemma

#1 in my ongoing Multiverse series. Look, I'm gonna be honest, I nearly lost my fucking mind writing this. It took me two years in total and multiple rewrites. The most planning I've ever done was for this fic. I drove padfootl0ve crazy writing this. And at this point, I think it's good but... I've been writing it for so long. But it's finally finished! This fic brings Mia, Alexia, Adelaide, Cassiopeia, and Hermione together into the prime universe, which I have named the Golden Trio Universe. They have to figure out why the hell they're jumping all over the damn place. This fic is mostly for me, if we're being honest. I enjoyed noting the particular differences between each version of Hermione. I certainly feel stronger in writing each of them now.

Otherside

Look, I started this one forever ago. Originally, this was going to be a fic where Sirius raised Harry. Super plain and overdone. But while I knew that, I had no fucking clue what to do with it. I had a slight manic episode triggered by this (yay bipolar!) and like texted my sister like "what the fuck do I do with it" and she was like ???? So I went to McDonald's and came up with a new idea where one version of Hermione (Macie May Greengrass) accidentally went back in time and decided to change time because shit got so bad, but when she got back home, nothing had changed even though she knew it had. She hadn't just gone to the past, she'd gone to a different universe. So with Sirius, they decide together that there's literally no saving their universe and to go to the other one together. And yes, I know I was all like "I'm going to continue a million fics at once and never disappoint you again!" but, if you believed me, I'm sorry. I believed me, too. We were both disappointed. Luckily, in the grand scheme of things, you won't even remember my fics, so it doesn't matter... right?

Virtue In Extremis

Alright. So. This description is long overdue, and I'll be honest, it's only coming because I have to start posting another new fic. This is about a girl named Emilie Rose Nott, who was born the twin sister of Theo. Their dad fucking hates her because she's a distraction from Theo becoming the best heir he could possibly have. When they're five (six?) Theodore Sr. tries to kill Emilie but kills their mother, Maria, instead. Her brother, Evan Rosier, tries to get Theodore Sr arrested for child abuse and the sort but the case is shut down and he's denied his niece and nephew. After Maria dies, the twins make some friends, whose parents vow to protect them as much as possible. Now really, I'm not sure what the majority of this fic is gonna be except dark, but what's new? Anyway, I haven't really even looked at it in a few weeks so I can't say much more than I know I really like this? Idk man. Enjoy, I guess.

Life Doesn't Discriminate

Right! This one! I like it!! Lmao anyway. When Hermione is six, she wanders into Diagon Alley and then Knockturn Alley, where she touches a ring that sends her to 1965. Alphard Black finds her and takes her to the DOM to do some tests and see about sending her back. When no immediate solution pops up, he adopts her. She becomes Estelle Vega Black and integrates into pureblood society. When she gets older, can she resist joining the Dark Lord while everyone else around her does? Who fucking knows? I don't.

James's Letters

Lmao ok so I was rereading Adelaide a while back and realized James had left letters for her, I'd acknowledged it, and then never did anything with it? Yeah so James left three letters for Adelaide after she'd left. There's... not much more to explain?

What If Alexia Told Them About Peter?

Okay so this one is the beginning of my What If series for Alexia. The title says most of it - what if she told everyone Peter was a Death Eater that day in class? The answer is, six years of hard work out the window lmao. Time is up for grabs, change it, do whatever the fuck you want. She makes damn sure it's too late for Arcturus to change back by the time he finds out by making a deal that she'd previously refused to even consider.

Marlene's Anti-Cheating Spell

This one was a small headcanon that I sent to my sister over messenger that I decided to post. Marlene finds out Sirius cheated on her, so she decides to use a very standard charm on him - except the charm has only ever been used on quills before. She did not consider the fact that lower year students eyes may need to be averted.

Friend, Please

This is #2 in my ongoing Multiverse Series. So this one is cool, but like... it involves a fic I'm very hesitant about and have not yet posted - my Harry Potter/Avengers crossover. I wrote it probably two or three years ago and have only looked back at it a couple times. I'm gonna be honest, it's not good. But! It's involved in this one. A sneak peek, I guess. Alexia and Cassiopeia get taken to another universe, but it drains Cassiopeia's core terribly, to the point she's in danger. With the help of that universe's Antonin, Alexia find Sirius - who was still hiding in the Forbidden Forest from Dementors - and takes him and Harry to Cassiopeia so Sirius could access their sibling bond and assist her. She didn't expect to run into Norse gods, nor did she expect them to help her get home.

Trapdoor

#3 in my ongoing Multiverse Series. Alexia and Antonin are fighting in London when an ill-timed curse combined with Disapparition sends them to the Founder's universe. After wands had been lowered, they realized she'd been cursed badly and needed to find someone able to cure her. That took them, through the Founder's multiverse machine, to Adelaide's universe to find her Avery with the hope that he'd be able to help her.
