So, call me Breather. I've been haunting this and other fanfiction sites for something on the order of ten years now, but I've only just gained the motivation to start writing my own stuff. Thank you to everyone who has followed, favorited, or commented on any of my works – your support means a lot to me :) I make it a point to respond to every named review, and I apologize ahead of time if I unintentionally miss yours.

I peruse a frankly ridiculous variety of fandoms, and I tend towards complicated stories with a lot of character development and action. Can't say I'm a huge fan of pure fluff - perhaps a bit in moderation, otherwise it makes for a rather boring story. I absolutely love black humor and well-written crack and crack pairings. I avoid tragedy like the plague, and nothing ruins me more than a surprise sad ending. Seriously, I just bawl like a baby and get snuffly for days after whenever I think about it.

One of my biggest pet peeves is lazy writing. There is absolutely no excuse for not proof-reading before posting a chapter. Some typos happen to everyone, but when they appear with enough frequency to interfere with my understanding of a story or distract me from enjoying the read, that's it, I'm out, no exceptions.

Regarding my writing, I have a very strict no bashing and no OOC policy. Proper characterization is very important to me, so if you think I'm not treating a character fairly or accurately, please let me know.

NOTE I am on the hunt for a particular story. I read it once before – at least a couple of years ago – and I've been trying to find it again, but the crafty rascal has continued to evade me. If anyone is familiar with the very cracky Bleach story in which Ichigo decides to become a pirate, recruits about half of Soul Society with the power of rum, sails a ship into Hueco Mundo, and absconds with most of the Espada, please let me know!

In-Progress Story Status

(5/23/15) Indebted and On the Horizon have just been updated! Currently and actively working on new chapters for Glacial and Convalescence. Not gonna give an estimated time of completion though, cuz that'll just end in disappointment for all involved.

Convalescence – Harry Potter x YuGiOh Crossover. SLASH and HET pairings. Thief Bakura x Harry is the main pairing, all others are quite inconsequential. While there are romantic elements, romance is not the main focus here. It's supposed to be a sort of suspenseful, dramatic adventure, but I can't quite seem to keep myself from writing out a bunch of boring, self-indulgent, every-day life details, so it'll probably be rather slow-moving with intermittent scenes of intense action.

Doubloons – Basically a dump for a bunch of One Piece plot bunnies that will never make their own stories. Hopefully, writing them down and getting them out of my head will let me finally focus on my other stories.

Glacial – A Beelzebub fic with minor elements from the Elder Scrolls video game series. Furuichi-centric that starts as angsty whump and turns into action and Furuichi badassery. No romance, friendship abounds!

Indebted – A Harry Potter and Katekyo Hitman Reborn! crossover in which Harry, in an ill-conceived attempt to evade what he perceives to be imminent wand-snapping by the Ministry of Magic in the summer before third year, falls into some very dangerous hands. Alternatively known as The One Where Harry is Literally the Unluckiest Kid Ever. Implications of slashy crushes, but no romance and no pairings.

On the Horizon – Another Harry Potter and KHR crossover, in which Harry sort of accidentally insinuates himself into the mafia world via his grandfather Reborn and can't seem to get away. Oh, and there's a mystery murder plotline somewhere in the background. Yeah. This fic will have slash pairings.
