Author has written 54 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Facts of Life, Rizzoli & Isles, and 100. January 2017 -Thought I should update this on the off chance anyone actually checks in. I’m still working on Teina and Don’t Be Afraid, and am trying to get back into the groove of posting regularly. Unfortunately, my crazy is acting up and it makes it hard to focus, so I might be a little slow. I’m working on some other Clexa stories, too, and trying to finish Life in Wartime and Karaoke. Sorry if you’ve commented and I haven’t replied. I’ll try to be better about that. March 2016. THAT WAS TOTALLY NOT WHAT I MEANT. Maybe we should riot anyway. January 2016 - I'm under a bunch of bonus stress, and you fine people are the recipients of my attempts to deal with it. Thanks for hanging in there with me. (And if Clexa doesn't happen on The 100, we should riot.) December 2015 - Those unfinished stories bother the hell out of me, but my Muse won't cooperate. I think when the holidays are done, some binge watching is in order. Maybe that will help. And yes, I'm well aware that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It goes right by my house. March 2014 - I'm still cleaning up the hard drive. It's still full of all kinds of stuff. I won't tease you by posting anything that isn't complete. January 2014 - I'm cleaning up my hard drive and posting stuff as I find it. Unfinished stories are in limbo for now. It makes me sad, too. 10/4/11 - Not to be a huge downer, but being an adult is an enormous pain in the ass, and if I had known this was what I had to look forward to, I would have stayed in my bedroom. Thanks for everyone's patience. I really will finish the stories I'm working on. It's just taking longer than I thought it would. Thanks so much for reading, and big, huge, ginormous thanks to those of you who take the time to comment. I suck at summaries, just like I sucked at writing headlines and sucked slightly less at writing cutlines (photo captions). If you have a suggestion, please send it to me. Otherwise, we're all going to continue to suffer. I've had a lot of jobs in the past, but now I'm retired on disability because of breathing problems from working in a sick building. If you see black mold, run screaming in the other direction. That stuff will mess you up. It took three years for my memory to stutteringly start working correctly again, and quarterly steroid tapers to keep me from hacking up a lung. My partner and I travel when we can, and take advantage of our proximity to the US East Coast megalopolis for regular doses of culture. Other than that, we're homebodies. I stopped writing when I started getting sick, and really missed it. I started writing in the Buffyverse because the structure made it an easier place to start. I like the characters and try do do right by them. Since then, I've fooled around with Facts of Life and my favorite new obsession, Rizzoli and Isles. Let's see, what else...I have two journalism degrees and a two-foot pile of weekly papers with my name all over them. I've worked in the merchant marine, as a legal secretary and law office manager, and most recently as a state government bureaucrat, moving from child support collection to IT because every time I tried to go into the CS building, I ended up getting hauled off to the doctor. After fighting the system for five years, I folded and retired. It's kinda like summer vacation without worrying about going back to school. |
