Author has written 40 stories for Days of Our Lives, Ironman, Grimm, Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Dexter, Sleepy Hollow, Avengers, Arrow, and Elementary. Update: 06/03/17 (Did the date the Aussie way, okay, all good? :D) Okay, so I know, I dropped off the face of the earth. I don't want to count up how long it's been, because I'll freak out. I don't know if anyone will read this or even care at this point, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of writing. 'Under My Skin' haunts me. So close to the end, and yet it still feels so freakin' far! I want to finish it. I keep picking it up and putting it back down again. It's complete in my head, I swear. If I could just crack open my head and spill it out onto your computer screen I would... unnecessarily graphic, I know. Anyways, reading an old Tony/Pepper fic with some side Avengers makes me want to some fun Pepperony/Steve/Bruce stuff, just because, we'll they're fun to write for! I have no idea - are people still up for that kind of thing. Mega bummed what the movie-verse did to Pepperony. Damn you, Joss Whedon, why can't you ever let anyone be happy?! Even off screen. Who hurt you as a child?! . So, thank you to those who have generously reached out to me to see if I'm ever planning on finishing what I started with UMS. The answer is yes. Hopefully. I'm now in possession of a computer where all the keys work, so that's a good start. My old computer was boycotting the letters r, k, y, e and a few others that made typing in English a chore. Don't have that excuse anymore, so I should really wheel the muse out of retirement. So, I guess, watch this space. And I'm sorry for the incredibly long and rude wait. Totally. My. Bad. Thank you as always for reading and caring enough to look up this bio update. And for those of you who aren't reading this, and don't care... well, that's fair enough too. Cheers, Lou... So I suppose I should put something in here right? What to say... well, I like writing and the great thing about fan fics is that a lot of the work is already done for you. People already know and love the characters you are writing about so you don't have to win them over. That makes fan fics fun to write and fun to share because people if they are here are looking for somebody to share their 'shipping with. So all in all, as gigs go, it's a pretty easy one. I'm also notorious for shipping couples that are never really couples, which is why I suppose I write to fill in the blanks I feel the shows are leaving. Not sure what else I'm meant to put in these little bios... I'm deeply fascinated by collective nouns and certain animals - squirrels and aardvarks leading the charge with that one. There are just some words when spoken that just make you smile in my opinion. I'm a bit like Guy Ritchie in that respect - you'll always find an English bulldog in his movies and you'll inevitably find squirrels, peacocks and other assorted animals in a LouBlue fic - I simply can't help myself. So I guess that is it, there is more to tell but you've listened politely for long enough. I'll finish off with a quote which sums up how I feel about writing... “I write to give myself strength. I write to be the characters that I am not. I write to explore all the things I'm afraid of. ” And another quote from Joss because you can't have too much of a good thing... “There’s a fine line between support and stalking and let’s all stay on the right side of that.” Updated: 30/01/14 Let's see, what else. I've notice people list faves on their profile pages, so I guess I'll do the same. I'll try and list a few of my favourite TV shows that may not be familiar to everyone. You can take it as read that I'm deeply in love with anything penned by Joss Whedon, Russell T Davies (and yes, that includes his non-Doctor Who catalogue) and Mitch Hurwitz, the creator/writer of 'Arrested Development'. The single funniest and cleverest comedy series I have ever watched. A close second to that is Dan Harmon's wacky 'Community' - I love never knowing what to expect from any given episode. :D Okay, my list of a few of my faves, in no particular order...
