Author has written 168 stories for Kim Possible, Harry Potter, and Zootopia. "King in Yellow," if you don't recognize it, comes from an 1895 collection of short stories that influenced H.P. Lovecraft. As the holder of an earned Ph.D. from the school which served as the basis for Miskatonic University I felt some justification in laying claim to the nom de plume. If you can identify my more obscure cultural references you are probably also ancient by FF.N standards. When Season 4 was announced the writers had no plans to give Kim's mom a first name. Anne was the most popular name used by fanfiction writers, but I preferred Jean for Jean Smart, the voice actress in the role. The writers lied, they gave her the name Anne. I believe it's now been changed everywhere - let me know if you find one. Connected Stories... I sometimes have stories (series?) with connected continuities. They are not always released in chronological order. HARRY POTTER - Harry hasn't appeared in anything I've written, although some of his ancestors have. Hogwarts 1835 has a real sequel, On Being Mrs Malfoy. London 1922 and Hogwarts 1940 stand alone, but in the same continuity. ZOOTOPIA: The chronological order of the stories would be: Who Do You Trust?, Symbiosis, Follow the Lady, Rack Up the Balls Boys, If I'm Not Me, Who Am I?, The Dead of the Night's High Noon, A Policeman's Lot Is Not a Happy One, More to be Pitied than Censured, Fox Male and Rabbit, When the Ship Comes In, Festina Lente, Busman's Honeymoon, The Ghost of Smoky Joe, Sleep Is for the Weak, Music Hath Charms, Sweet Dreams, Fright Night, Number Twelve (chapters 1-6 set 4 years after Busman's Honeymoon.), A Solstice Carol (bumps around madly in chronology), A Week in Casablanca, Number Twelve (chapter 7). Apparently I didn't hit 'save' after thanking the artist for permission to use the Zootopia story icon on my stories. Artist uses the name "mappy" on Pixiv. KIM POSSIBLE - in addition to the huge Best Enemies series there are other stories in some continuities Self Identity - Had a dynamite idea for a deeply psychological work! But I wimped out and wrote Identity Crisis, started Identity Shift, as a sequel that won't be finished. Truce from Friction - Kim and Shego must work together, and adopt each other as honorary sisters: Truce or Consequences, Truce Is Stranger Than Friction, and The Truce Shall Let You Freeze. A fourth, The Truce Is Out There, is a bit darker. Boardwalkers - Under the Boardwalk is fluffier than I usually write, followed by When You're Making Other Plans, which is angstier than usual. The Devil You Say - The Devil to Pay followed by The Devil You Know. Double, Double Toil and Trouble - I meant to write a sequel to Double Minded, but it didn't move past Morning Becalms Electronique. Charles Dickens - early, poorly conceived stories with a twist. Experiment that didn't work well. Hard Times followed by Bleak House. The Best Enemies universe requires more introduction. The first six stories comprise the original story arc and appeared in order. Later stories have been set in different times and did not appear in order. Here is their order within the Best Enemies story line. TempestDash created the names of several old enemies of Team Go: Bella Negra, Obtinus, Serpent King, and Hellpike. Note - in an 'upgrade' FFN deleted some scene dividers. It didn't change all my stories, but affected several. It makes some early stories very choppy sounding. I need to either edit text so that they are no longer needed, or insert the new and approved scene divider. And in the most recent upgrade they gave all my stories new word counts - which nearly killed me with my OCD. |
