While she takes care of Jane at Netherfield, Elizabeth enters a room she shouldn't have. In every respectable JAFF, this should end in a forced marriage, but the characters don't know that. A short story in two parts.

Fitzwilliam Darcy is delayed until November for his 1812 trip to Rosings, so he has not seen or heard any news of the inhabitants of Hertfordshire for a year. He encounters something at Rosings that leaves him badly shaken, and starts him to a journey he could not have imagined.

In which Sir Percy reflects on the many political changes in France, and visits an old friend.

Mrs. Reynolds, whose job it was to know even the minutest details of all the goings-on of Pemberley House, heard within moments of the master's hurried rush to join the visitors on their tour, and was kept abreast of his exceptional attentions to them throughout their walk. Knowing all of this, she approached him after their departure somewhat hesitantly.
