I believe Mr Bennet is refusing his consent because he's about to bring in Mr Collins to push on Elizabeth. On this assumption I'm kind of glad it stops here so I can be spared!

Really, really excellent story though and joking aside I would be ecstatic to see it continued.

I love this story! I so so wish it would be updated! They claim it hasn't been abandoned bu the author hasn't updated in like three years, so it feels a little abandoned. It's an extremely good story though so I hope and pray we might get something soon!

I've found the characters very out of character but the story is still enjoyable. I'd be interested in reading more. it seems Mr and Mrs Bennet both have something to hide. I hope you continue one day.

Absolutely charming story. Thank you for so fully developing a unique plot line with fleshed out characters. I’m not a fan of cruel Mr. and Mrs. Bennet characterizations. An abused Lizzy is hard to read about, but I understand how it contributes to the passion and importance of the E/D relationship. As I’m getting into P&P fanfics, i see so many who are publishing their stories- i hope you too have that opportunity as your story is a cut above the company. It’s so interesting to think you started this five years ago, and are still receiving almost daily positive reviews and people wishing they could see the resolution to the story. Thank you for providing so much entertainment and joy for so long! I doubt that you have more free time during this pandemic with taking care of your little ones, but do know that you’ve brought great joy to so many of us during this time.
