![]() Author has written 9 stories for Kaze no Stigma/風のスティグマ, Gundam 00, Gundam Wing/AC, Angel Beats!/エンジェルビーツ, and D.Gray-Man. Any and all artwork found on this profile, fan made or official, does not belong to me. Please keep in mind that I do not update on a regular, or even semi-regular basis. That does not mean, however, that I plan on abandoning any of the stories below. Bottom line: updates will be posted, but when, or how often I can't say. I'm a lot more active on social media! Facebook alias: StormyMonday Tumblr: incendiaash April 20, 2020 – If you're reading this and wondering why I haven't updated TOSD even though I said the next chapter is half written, I'm dealing with COVID anxiety. For nearly a month, I've lost my "me time" due to "personal distancing". (That's the short explanation.) Next week, I'll be getting that time back, but that doesn't mean my anxiety will go away, because there's no vaccine for this mess and I will continue to worry about my loved ones until there is. But I'll try to get another chapter out to y'all as soon as I can. Stay tuned, and remember the six foot rule! -hearts- December 23, 2019– To those of you who have favorited and followed my old fics: thank you! -hearts- But I want you to know that I doubt I'll be updating them anytime soon. I hate to disappoint, but I'm pretty much laser-focused on DGM for the foreseeable future, mainly my Allen/OC fic. I don't have a timetable for when it might be finished, as I'm not one who writes for different fandoms at the same time. In the Works The Other Side of Darkness [D.Gray-man - Hurt/Comfort/Romance] The war is over but not all is well. After suffering a devastating loss, and weeks of soul searching, Allen decides to leave the Order. In retrospect,it may be the best decision he's ever made. Welcome to the Battlefront Paranormal Investigation Society [Angel Beats! - Supernatural/Horror/Hurt/Comfort/Romance] The members of the Battlefront Paranormal Investigation Society were seemingly normal teenagers whose fascination with the afterlife was dismissed as childish fantasy. The founding members knew better, however. While investigating an old mansion, the team encounters something terrifying and unravels a deadly mystery that spans well outside the home's dilapidated grounds. {Indefinite hiatus} Ordinary World [Gundam 00 - romance/hurt/comfort/angst/suspense] In the distant aftermath of tragedy, she gave his life meaning, and in turn he willingly provided her with acceptance and validation, but lies, and differing ideologies would inevitably tarnish the sparkle they had brought into each others lives. As time passes, Fate will bring everything full circle, bearing gifts that in the past seemed forever out of reach. Neil/OC, Lyle/OC [Indefinite hiatus] In case you're interested.. I guess a little background information would be nice to start off with, right? Ok. I started my love affair with anime way back in 1997/98 when I discovered Dragonball/Z on Cartoon Network. At the time, I had been in the hospital for some major surgery and I was happy to have something to look forward to each day in the three weeks I spent there. Back then, CN/Funimation were just starting to introduce anime to a mainstream audience. I really liked DB/Z, but didn't really care for anything else they had to offer. That all changed for me when Toonami first aired Gundam Wing in 2000. I loved it, and I still do to this day. After that, I was pretty happy to watch whatever shows they managed to acquire rights to.If memory serves, Yu Yu Hakusho was the next thing to gain my full attention. Somewhere around the Fall of 2005 I stopped watching anime on TV, mostly due to the fact I got tired of reruns, so I started a membership with Netflix, which allowed me watch anything I wanted without spending ungodly amounts of money. For a while, I was spending too much on anime box sets that I really only watched once and that are now in my closet gathering dust. I am not a yaoi fan (with the exception of 3x4, and even then I will not read citrus), which means I rarely read stories in my favorite fandoms. (Just because two or more guys share the same air space doesn't automatically make them hot for each other, regardless of how gorgeous they are.) My writing style is 'show, don't tell.' Unfortunately, I deal with a lot of health problems, so I don't write nearly as much as I'd like. As far as reviewing, I don't do it nearly as much as I should, but when I do, I use the "sandwich" method. And that's pretty much it. Thanks for visiting! ~Stormy |
