I doubt some authors really care if the reviewer likes the story or not, so there's no point in putting a review if you don't like the story. Some authors write for themselves. They write their stories for fun, for their own enjoyment, sometimes not for the reviewers. They take time out of their own personal lives in order to enjoy the privilege of writing their stories.When a reviewer says they're leaving an author's story because they were disappointed or something happened that they didn't like. It's the author's story. If the story wasn't up to the reviewer's varied expectations, it's not the author's fault. |
