Author has written 5 stories for Kim Possible, Calvin & Hobbes, and Michael Vey series. To introduce myself, I'm ekrekeler, and my pen name is The Krekeler. I have a variety of nicknames, including Krekendecker, Krekels, KrekDog, KrekelBot, KreklelBerry, KrekHouse, KrekFire, Snap Krekel Pop, and KrekThing. Mostly I am just known as ekrekeler around the webs. I'm a twenty-year-old college student in Dallas, Texas. My choice of writing (and reading) is Kim Possible. Interestingly enough, I barely even knew that the show existed until I was sixteen. Sadly, I never had cable as a kid so I never saw Kim Possible until I came across an episode on Disney Channel's website and decided to watch it. However, the show stole my heart. It still excites me and makes me laugh at my age. I guess Disney is just really good at capturing all audiences. And I'm still waiting for a fifth season! I am still new to writing (fanfiction, not essays, *cringe*), and I am a bit of a slow writer since I have the hectic schedule of a college student prone to procrastination. I have so many good ideas, but sometimes they're just so hard to get down on paper. So I apologize in advance for all those who follow my stories if it takes me forever to update. On that note, my goal is to knock out at least one Kim Possible universe by the time I graduate college, but I still need to test the waters. To briefly describe my writing, I try to make them romantic, humorous, and as accurate to the show as I can. A more detailed version of my personality in my writing: I'm a romantic; I include as much humor as I can; I like to include foreshadowing; I am Christian, but I think Mystical Monkey Power would totally rock if I had it, so I include that; I love to play off of things from the show; I think the whole soul mates/destiny thing is good to add; I write in third person semi omniscient, meaning I write from one chararacter's P.O.V. at a time; I include emotions to the best of my ability (and being a guy, I'm not all that great); and I try not to get too deep into the Sci-Fi stuff (Wade would tell me that I'm denigrating the genre) because I don't want to make it too 'scientifically inaccurate' for all those physicists out there. Anyway, I greatly appreciate feedback and reviews, as long as they are appropriate, and I will respond to whoever leaves one. Even if it's ten years from the time I wrote the story, I'll still value a review from a reader who enjoys my writing. Also, if you just plain want someone to talk KP to, you can PM me. I like Kim Possible anything, except for KiGos. Those irk me for some reason. If there are any Kim Possible stories or authors that you find interesting that aren't already in my favorites lists, tell me! I enjoy reading it just as much if not more than writing. |
