Author has written 14 stories for Sherlock, Torchwood, Doctor Who, and Avengers. *THIS PROFILE IS ON HIATUS* A note from the authoress: life has been eating me up. It finds me delicious. So I haven't been very active at all. To all those who review, thank you so much for taking the time to review and comment :) A welcome and thank you is also extended to everyone who favorites and/or follows anything of mine. VITAL STATISTICS Past life: Victorian seamstress making her own merry way in the world. That or Grace O'Malley. Current life: A student who is not scientific-minded (also known as MISERABLY FAILING Chemistry). Future life: Captain of an illegal salvage ship. Like Mal Reynolds! Age: Nice try. Things that you should never, ever give me: sharp objects, an eyeliner pencil, and/or a triple-shot espresso. I BELIEVE IN SHERLOCK HOLMES. AND MORIARTY WAS REAL. Favorite TV shows: Okay, now we're getting somewhere! It really depends on which direction the wind blows, but right now, I'm completely obsessed with Sherlock. As in, every other thought involves Sherlock, Sherlock, SHERLOCK!!!! I also like Merlin, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Life on Mars, Castle, Red Dwarf, and Firefly. Favorite songs/music: I have a slight problem with buying things off iTunes, I'll admit it. I like almost every sort of music you can give me. The only kind that I really can't stand (i.e., run screaming for miles and miles) is disco. But my favorite artists right now are Ingrid Michaelson, Jewel, Sara Bareilles, Lucy Schwartz, Florence The Machine, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Hey Marseilles, 30 Seconds to Mars, Evanescence, Death Cab for Cutie, Break of Reality, Regina Spektor, Zoe Keating, Ani DiFranco, The Pogues, Flogging Molly...okay, I'll shut up now. Favorite books: The Increasingly Inaptly named Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy, Before I Die by Jenny Downham, Hold Still by Nina LaCour, 1984 by George Orwell, Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You by Peter Cameron, Keeping You a Secret by Julie Ann Peters, and a whole lot of other stuff... I inhabit a wild state in the north of the United States. The WAY north. I exist in a normal school life setting, but I actually live in a small wood house on the edge of a highway that is almost completely furnished in pinks and purples. (The house, that is. Not the highway.) My cohabitants include an author, an artist, a ton of children, even more dogs, and enough laughter, music, telly, and stories to last a lifetime. I have four sisters, but only one I am biologically related to. The other three are people who give me all my ideas and are some of the most important and amazing ladies on this earth. I drive forklifts, skiffs, snowmachines, and four-wheelers, but I have yet to get my learner's permit. I am also a BIT - Blogger In Training - and work for 10$$ an hour for my grandma. In the words of a lovely character we all know and love, she'd be "lost without her blogger". I am a cellist who is not a solo performer - I work better in quartets and orchestras. Hmm, what does that say about me? iDance, too...ballet is what I mostly do, but I have been told on numerous occasions that my real strengths lie in contemporary and flamenco. If I survive school, I aspire to write. (I actually aspire to do almost everything, but writing is the only thing I've been certain of since I was six.) A DEFINITION OF FACEPALM: Face meets palm. Palm says hello, face! Palm also says wow, face, you're stupid and face says AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!! I'm human. I promote people that I like XD I beta for an incredible, gorgeous person, unintentionalgenius. If you like my stuff, you'll love hers. She's a little past brilliant. I'm also a twin that was cruelly separated at birth - my sister across the US is columbine-and-asphodel, and she writes some pretty incredible things. Check her out, really do. raven612 is also incredible and amazing, you should all love her :) Anyway. Enough of that. An ENORMOUS thanks needs to go to my sisters, my shows, my role models, and my readers. Without each of you in turn, I would definitely not exist. The story favorites and story alerts make me smile :) With you guys, every day is a good day. Enough chatter. Just one more thing - I'm very protective of my writing, and usually don't tend to show people it. This is a really big step for me, publishing stuff online. Reviews are love. Don't make them hate. *THIS PROFILE IS ON HIATUS* |
