Oh, poor Remus! This was hard to read (not as hard as the flashbacks to his torture, which I pretty much read through webbed fingers), but also so, so beautiful! I cried a whole bunch. You show the development of deep love and trust between these two in a lovely way. This is my second reading and I've found myself thinking of the story a lot in between. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

i'd love a prequel, something which starts from when remus was released, and if it could be harry-centric it would be a dream b/c i love harry far too much lol

So, to be honest, I'm not a fan of AUs, (well, with the exception of the I'M IN DENIAL ABOUT REMUS AND TONKS' DEATHS AUs, because, obviously I fall solidly into said camp). I also really don't like all human AUs, because taking away the magic (and therefore the werewolf thing) takes away so many of the amazing dimensions of Remus's character. But DANG! You managed to take a category I decidedly don't like and write one of my favorite stories. So thanks for that!

This story took over my life at my brother's state track meet back in May, and I've reread it several times ever since. And, as such, I think you deserve a few more reviews. So, here goes. I haven't signed into my profile in years but I have to write you this.

I have read this story several times.i keep going back to it. It is one of the best stories I have read since I started reading fanfiction years ago. This story is exactly what I was looking for when looking for some hurt Remus fiction.

I saw in chapter 7 when you were asking if people would like to read a prequel and it is like you read my mind. I would love to read something that maybe starts from Remus being rescued to where your story starts.

Anyways I wanted you to know this is one of my favorite works and it was so well written and so hard to put down. It was fantastic! Have itsaved so I can keep going back to it!

The way Remus is treated is awful! He was a war hero, he fought for their country and this is how they repay him? It’s pathetic... but beautifully written!

I love the way you write, I love the way you describe their love, I love how long the chapters are, I love the idea! Keep going this story is one of the best i've read so far ;)

Remus' situation is now also much more relatable, about why he keeps Dora away! In the real books he's a werewolf, wow, big deal. But now, placed in a context of the real world, I understand it much better and loved RemusDora's relationship even more!
