I am in tears right now. As difficult as it was to read, this was an amazing story. The sacrifices they made, the people they lost, the pain and heartache they've been through...well it just brought them together again and cemented them as a family.

I honestly wasn't expecting the Serenity to be fixed and brought back, but I was happy it did. Made for a very bittersweet ending.

I'm glad I finished it, and now I'm officially done all of your Firefly stories! Well done, and thank you for all the work you did in this story and all the others. Stay shiny :')

I had to stop reading this at work, because it was making me all teary. Their goodbyes to Kaylee and the overwhelming memories were heart wrenching!

I did however get a good laugh from River's quip about Inara not having no pockets, and Mal's slip of the mind.

Also, MAL AND INARA FINALLY KISSED! Oh my gosh, their reunion made me sooooo happy :')

Nice to see them recovering well! I particularly liked reading Jayne and Simon's reunion, it was quite like them.

And I swear you're going to make me cry at work. I've nearly forgotten their promise to bring Kaylee home...

I also wonder about Mai. She's probably dead, but I'd still like to know for sure.

I really liked seeing more from Mal and Zoe's POV. And I knew that Simon would come to their aid!

There were a couple anxious moments there, where I thought they were gonna die. Please don't let Mal die!

Oh thank goodness they escaped! It's it's nice to see that Gabriel FINALLY understands what all happened, well, at least some of it.

I'll bet my buttons that the Akori is heading towards where Jayne, Zoe and Mal are. I hope they'll be able to save Jayne :/

I'm really nervous for Mai, like will she be tortured or just killed? I hope Simon, River and the kids are able to escape.

I've left this fic for far too long. I had to do a bit of catch up to remember where they are!

My heart is still broken for Simon, but I kind of hope he'll accept help and move on...eventually.

I'm still super intrigued with where everyone else is too!

Oh I feel bad for Simon, he had a hand in killing people...though he wanted the complete opposite. I hope he doesn't get into too much trouble with Cheung.

It was nice seeing what Mal and Zoë were up to, and that the message did get out.

Really nice to see an update on Mal, Zoe and Jayne! I kinda laughed at River and Simon's meeting, but it's really nice that they got to see each other again...even if just for an hour.

I'm wondering how far Simon and Mai will have to take their relationship in this rouse. It's sad that he can't be there as much for his children, but at least Maddy is okay and looks out for Billy.

The flashbacks were nice, I especially liked the second one with a very curious River :)

Ohh, Mai might be his contact. I'm not too sure if I can trust her at this point though! And Inara seems to be getting some good info as well.

I was starting to wonder where Jayne was, and I was glad to see he's doing okay. The flashback regarding his feelings for Kaylee was pretty good. I know one thing I read said Jayne had a crush on her, whereas another source said they were going for a brother-sister type of relationship. Either way, I like their relationship :)

Simon will never be the same without Kaylee, and it was nice seeing the flashback about Simon wanting to marry her. So he's gathering information on Osiris, I take it?

River, oh River! She makes the perfect spy. Let's just hope she doesn't get killed...

Oh the flashbacks, those are the memories Zoe and Simon will have to continue living with. Reading this makes me a little more sad now that I've heard about the passing of my cousin, who left behind her husband and young son :(

Anywho, I'm curious to read about River's mission! This full on war is captivating...

Fantastic chapter, I really enjoyed seeing where everyone went! Still quite sad they're separated, but River is right and I don't think they can stay apart for long.

I still feel awful for Simon and Madeline, having to live a lie, and with that constant reminder of who they've lost. I wonder what kind of plan he has up his sleeve? (I also thought he was with Mai, and I got really mad...but I'm happy she's just a bitter ex!)

I thought Kaylee's death was the only heartbreaking thing, but seeing the crew all split up makes me so sad :'(

I gotta say, Simon's ruse might actually work...and it's a solid plan. It's just sad that he has to leave his sister, but understandable. I was glad to read that Madeline will be passed off as his daughter, she has been like a daughter already :)

I'm sad, but very interested to see where this story will go!
