![]() Author has written 5 stories for Teen Titans. Greetings, I'm SladeRavenFan. My bio was getting clogged so it's been scrubbed up a little. I'd like to start with a thanks to Tragon, qweerlittlefish, Waterpokemon and EvanescentWriter who have helped tremendously with putting up fanfictions, and generally helping me in many aspects of the 'fanfiction experience'. I read quite a few fandoms; Teen Titans (comics and cartoons), Batman Begins/TDK/TDKR, Harry Potter, Young Justice and Person of Interest. Don't judge. Update (31/12/2015) Hello to anyone that still checks up on my bio, thank you to all those that have been favouriting, following and reviewing my stories over the years. It makes me smile to still get reviews after not posting for so long. I do get email notifications daily, so old pals or new readers, don't hesitate to say hi. Occasionally I come on the site for editing or nostalgic rereading of my fave stories (see my community/faved stories list), or to talk to old pals (we're all feeling ancient). I don't like leaving stories unfinished, so I will come back to them, but not for quite a while. Whenever I have rare sparks of the urge to write, it's either deleted or on fictionpress which I've grown up and on to. If you want to know my username, lemme know because I'm not openly inviting the world to see where I write as myself. There's not much published but I still write, as should you! My profile pic belongs to some great artist i cannot remember. My passionate younger self explains my actions below: My username (SladeRavenFan): Let's get this clear. When I joined I had completely no idea of an username. I found the first fandom I recognised, Teen Titans. I picked two of my favourite characters and added 'Fan'. In no way am I a fan of Slade and Raven as a pairing. I don't ship it, I don't like it, but I tolerate it. They go well in a story, but not as a couple. I've read them getting married and it's just wrong. What, she'd suddenly marry her enemy who's twice her age and she hates? And my username doesn't in any way indicate all my stories will be about the two. Please review on my stories about my stories. I'd appreciate about reviewing what's there, not what's not. But I'm open to suggestions. My reviews I review a lot of stories. Sometimes they are positive, but sometimes they're not. I accept that it's awful to not receive a good review, but without constructive criticism you will never improve. No one can expect everyone to love what you write. What I mean to say is not all my reviews are good but they're polite and honest. If you want to ask for help, PM me. If you want clarification on any advice, PM me. If you want to tell me I have hurt your feelings, PM me. I will apologise. I am not looking for a fight, but for you to improve. In the past, I received excuses. No, your sister didn't review your story. Badly written responses. There's no credibility to "I know how to wright you dont know what your talking bout." Or getting insulted by biased friends. I am also not afraid to expose the sad, sad author who didn't react well to my advice and immaturely (underage authors *sigh* you're not allowed on this site for a reason) flamed Freedom under the guise of bitchy girl. robstar591, you will never improve. Stories: (not in chronological order) Christmas Encounter: Complete. It's a oneshot, mainly made because of the Christmas spirit. The plot was random, thought up on the spot. It is silly, but it works enough. So many things I still want to change in that, but I'll leave it for now as memoir to my thirteen year old self. Freedom: Well... This is the latest project. It's not that big, but I know it's going to be great. I just feel for it... And the amount of reviews I'm getting, just... Wow. Thank you! I know I'm bad at frequent updates, but I'm trying. It's my attempt at a big fic. Hero: Oneshot, and written as a b-day present to qweerlittlefish. Heroes are interesting. People have so many definitions for it, and this fic is about what hero should be. Teen Titans are heroes, but not all heroes are like them. You could be a hero. We all could, really. Heroes aren't just those comic superheroes; they're people who've done something to help someone else out of the goodness of their heart. The Brick Wall: Oneshot. Not enough of us see Slade and Wintergreen fics, do we? Well, thats why I wrote this. Their friendship is more than that. And Slade is more than some evil bad guy; he's human too. A guy with an awful past which has made him cold, and thus built the Brick Wall. Persuasion: Threeshot. I always love to read what happened after Terra fled, and how Slade found her, and since there's so many versions I wanted to try my own. I had a sudden rare burst of inspiration and wrote it in two days, so it's rushed but will be rewritten. It was posted over two days, three chapters.
A note from Necronom Hezberek Mortix: I would just like to give a big thank you for reading and reviewing every single chapter of my latest story, "Bird Brain", to this very kind person. She has been very kind and supportive of me, and we've had a few good discussions about some random things too! And without further adieu - This year's Reviewer of the Year Award goes to... SladeRavenFan!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I thank NHM for writing this note, and recommend you read her stories. They're good, and worth your time. |
