Just a note on your forward... I actually watched a Cillian Murphy interview where the interviewer unsubtle(ly) told him he was ugly. I shit you not. She panned the movie he was in and then insulted his looks. I would have walked out with a few choice words if it had been me. I've never seen a movie interview that rude.

Hi there! Thank you so much for creating this intricate, realistic, and addictive crane/oc story! The dialogue is excellent. The pacing and emotional bond between characters fits so well. I sincerely hope you update in the future. I myself have an unfinished joker/oc fic I hope to complete one day even though I update chapters every few years later. This has be the most unexpected story I've ever clicked on. I hadn't realized it wasn't finished but when I did I just couldn't stop. This story wasn't just pulling me in. It had me hooked - right from the beginning. You're writing is so different from most that I've read on Fanfiction or elsewhere but in some really hypnotic way you manage to create a story, plotline, character (Alexis) that are just so real and also meaningful.

Most would expect (I know I did) the whole high school bit to be tastelessly done but that whole character building (for Jon and Alexis) part of the story was really a important and compelling insight on both characters.

I really hope you'll update. But if not just know that this story even as an unfinished piece is already one that I know I'll remember. Thank you.

Ah Alexis... How grand of a character she is! Bloody love this. I love it because you have written it in the style of Nolan- very realistic. Let be honest, in high school (i think its high school anyway!) people are afraid of not fitting in and I think it's a very common fear to be all alone and the outcast. She has been written very well and I like how much she has changed- it helps us separate her high school self and her adult self. Which aso helps us separate their relatonship from high school to adulthood a bit- makes us realise theres a change/ shift in their feelings towards each other! I like that difference!
I love her character even more since she's competitive and quite strong minded- she's a very raw character which has feelings, which I enjoy even more because we'll see how Jonathan sort of uses that to his advantage! Overall... Great story so far! The chapter length is like pudding- quenches my hunger, satisfying, deliciously tastey and I want more :)

*Clap clap clap* Very good. I like the set up you had for Alexis and Crane in my experience where "she was actually Crane's one friend" is either glossed over or it's all they focus on but you have done it well. They weren't friends friends but they respected each other and only for a short time. The reunion is believable as well. Well done and I cannot wait for the next chapter.

Well, I have already read this story before, and I'm surprised for finding a new chapter! Please, update soon, I really love JC and I think he deserve to hook up with someone pretty as Lex :)
