Author has written 5 stories for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Digimon, and StarTrek: Other. Hi there! My name's Ashley James Lambert, I'm 28, and I currently proclaim the town of Malmesbury (UK) as my Homeworld. To be perfectly honest and frank, I've never really known what to write in this kind of section on sites (chuckles nervously to self). Oh, one thing I'd like to point out now before we go any further, that all spelling here is in Proper English - i.e. "James's" is spelt "James' ", "authorize" spelt "authorise", and so on so forth. No offence (that's another!!!) to anyone, but that's just how it's always been, and no one's going to bugger it up under MY watch! Essentially, I grew up watching Star Trek: TNG with my mum on the BBC; however, the only scene I can visually recall from back then is a dialogue between Sir Patrick Stewart's and Jonathan Frakes' characters in a corridor. I know, not very specific, but there you go; oh, the fickleness of Human memory. Anyway, it wasn't until I was 5 that I first sat down and watched through the original Star Wars trilogy - instantaneously hooked. From then on, Star Trek was gone, and in came Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Luke Skywalker. Eventually, the prequals were released, but inevitably Star Trek lured me back. I watched my first episode of Deep Space 9 in 2004; admittedly, I thought there were only 3 seasons. Fortunately, I found I was quite incorrect. Then, in 2007, I found myself playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. From that moment on, I found myself irrevocably linked to that particular era of the Star Wars saga. That's why I was incredibly disappionted to realise that there were no official novelisations of the games; thus, I decided to take it upon myself to author a pair of authentic novelisations - each including many, if not most, of the events from the games. Elsewhere, I also enjoy the Lord of the Rings, the Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Kill Bill, and many other works of fiction and non-fiction alike. The Expanded Universes of both Star Trek and Star Wars are particularly enchanting. Almost like the Force... Also, for the Digimon: Forever stuff, I've started a wiki page for that series - just use digimonforever dot wikia and away you go! There, you can find info on characters, future (novels, novellas, short stories...? Not really sure yet lol) projects in the series... though I may have to rework parts of it as more information is released about the Digimon Adventure sequel series. Oh, and once I've completed the first few, I would love to turn the Digimon: Forever series into a collaborative effort! So long as your writing and grammar are up to scratch, and have even a basic knowledge of Digimon (I'd always be on-hand as an knowledge bank), then look out for a stray private message... As the late Leonard Nimoy kept saying - "Live long, and prosper." |
