Hey,

I have been increasingly finding that I see pairings in movies, TV shows, books etc. that nobody has witten. If nobody writes them, how can I read them? Figured I'd better write them myself.

Also, I keep seeing new pairings that haven't been written but not getting the chance to write them myself, so I've decided that anyone who visits my profile gets to play a game. I call it 'Adopt a Pairing'. Below are some pairings that I can't find fics for (some may have some depending on how thoroughly I've searched. e.g. I know that I only looked for M rated on some of the Shakespeare ones). Basically, you read the list and if you know and like any of the pairings, you write a fanfic for it (no matter how bad of an author you may think that you are). Then you PM me with the name of the story and pairing so that I can find it. Alternately, if you know of a story for this pairing that I haven't found, let me know immediately. If you don't approve of a pairing, do the sensible thing and ignore it! It's a bit of an odd mix right now but I'll fix it up as I go. Sound like fun? Good. Okay:

Lysander/Demetrius- A Midsummer Night's Dream (definitely some for this, but seriously. Read the scene with Lysander and Hermia in the forest before they go to sleep and then tell me that something M wouldn't happen if the potions went wrong and the boys saw each other first...)

Romeo/Balthazar- Romeo & Juliet (He's described as Romeo's man, what if they didn't mean 'servant'?)

Prince charming/male OC- any fairy-tale (preferably Cinderella- why do you think his parents were so desperate to marry him off?)

Jack/Rhys- Torchwood (Rhys is literally the only main character from the first 2 seasons who never kisses someone of the same gender, fix this!)

Thomas/William- Downton Abbey (set when William was alive please, can't deal with angst)

Will/Kit- Shakespeare in Love (this was touched on in a fic and now I can't get it out of my head)

Don/Cosmo- Singing in the Rain (No way nobody has written this, but I'm sure I've looked)

Gideon/any brother- Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (you have 6 to choose from!)

Clay/Lucas- Women of the Otherworld (I know its in no way canon, but I love them both so much!!!)

Peter/Mark-Love Actually (come on, AU where the answer to the 'do you love him' question is secretly yes)

Danny/Doodie- Grease (read the stage version instead of the movie. Almost all of Doodie's lines start with 'Hi Danny'. He's obsessed!)

Rosencrantz/Guildenstern- Hamlet

Bobby-Rae/ Andrew- Sweet Home Alabama (That smile when he opens the door...)

Ryan/David- A Cinderella Story

Austin/Carter- A Cinderella Story

Karl/David- Dinotopia (Just rediscovered this and obviously there aren't too many fics for it, let alone this pairing)

Bingley/Wickham- Lost in Austen (I love Wickham in this and I reckon there's chemistry)

Rafe/Danny- Pearl Harbor (How has nobody written this!?!)

Paolo/Mario- Titanic (2012 mini-series)

Dick/Bob- Saving Mr Banks

Günther/Michael- War Horse (This one I really need but have no idea how to write, they are only in the film for maybe 10-15min before they die, so someone watch that bit over and over until you have an idea for a fic please and thank you!!)
