Mind you, if I review your story once there's a very high likelihood that I'll proceed to leave lots and lots of reviews; I am terribly selfish and reviewing is my way of trying to encourage updates ASAP. Horrible isn't it? If I actually review a completed story, that means that I LOVED it. Published likes I love to read, and my list of favorite books goes on and on. I especially like the works of P.G. Wodehouse, James Herriot, and Alexander Dumas. I'll stop there, because otherwise the list would rapidly become far too long. Fanfiction likes I especially like Harry Potter (mostly Snape), Star Trek (mostly Spock), vampires (preferably ones that don't sparkle), and crazy crossovers that somehow miraculously work out thanks to a talented writer. For example, Sherlock Holmes and Twilight. Or Star Trek and Harry Potter. My writing I'm a reader, not a writer. I spent years on this site, reading other people's works. Then one day, I went crazy, wrote chapter one of Fateful, and published it. To my utter suprise, people actually read the thing. And then, someone reviewed it. I was caught, hook, line, and sinker. Ever since, I've been hopelessly addicted to reviews. And, I've discovered that writing can actually be really fun! I'm enjoying the entire writing process for Fateful. I apologize for the short chapters by the way - if I tried to make them longer they'd never get written! |
