An interesting story but I hope it has something approaching a ‘happy ending’ feeling nervous. Enjoy reading stories with a well developed Rumplestiltskin in various scenarios particularly with Baelfire of any age. Look forward to finishing this and hope you have other stories.

Really love this one. It's like everything I didn't know I was looking for. I already wanted an AU where Rumple didn't let go, and went with him, and nearly starved, but I also wanted Bae to meet Emma and Henry to find him, and I was stumped on how that could happen (especially if I was going to have to write it) and then I stumbled upon this little gem, and it had all that and older Neal interacting with his younger self and his alternate father, and that was just Gold. Pardon the pun. And it was really well written and kept my interest the entire way through, even when I got to chapter 42 and was so tired from staying up way too long that I wanted to just stop, a few paragraphs and I didn't even feel tired anymore, so I kept going. And it was terrifying like a proper horror story, at least until the horrors actually started, because it was more the anticipation that was driving the terror, but anyway it also had all the elements like family and humor and plot that these things thrive on. So anyway, thank you. It's a gorgeous story, and I love it, and I love you.

I'm really enjoying this. It's perfect the way you've trapped Rumple into accepting staying there due to his circumstances and the sinister goings on at the hospital are a terrific hook.

Excellent story so far. I'm choosing to believe that Mrs. Hughes worked for Dr. Hastings before starting as the Housekeeper at Downton Abbey. ;)

I really love stories that revolve around the 'what if's of OUAT and up until now I have never seen a story that explored the possibility of Rumple going with Bae.
I especially enjoyed the consistency of Rumple's characterization. He definitely was neither the Rumple who spent 300 years under the curse, nor the spinner he was before, but a Rumple which was formed by his experience of it. And he was wonderful ;)
I also enjoyed the whole tone of the story and how it slowly got more and more sinister as Dr. Hastings doings were discovered.
Still, while I enjoyed everything, my favourite parts were the dream sequences with Rhosyn (who was a really interesting character all by herself and a believable take on who Belle could have grown up to be in a different world and under different circumstances) and Rumple.

That was incredible. Great job with your Londyn characters.

I'm glad that Gold treated the Weavers well and Leroy and Doc were so protective. A little more info about Bae and Wendy's situation besides the bedroom would be nice but it's still good to wrap up this story with its happy ending.

Well, that's the casual Rumpelstiltskin I would enjoy seeing. Suits don't do anything for me. I might have to hang out a lot in his bookstore, if I lived there. And one thing I've always thought, from the beginning of the show, was that Rumpel should have a whirlpool in his house for his leg. And no one ever wrote it into a fic. So nice to finally see it used; he deserves all the little luxuries this life can offer. Safe and happy in Rhosyn's arms, Bae and Wendy snug in their beds upstairs - it was a harrowing journey, but a lovely. welcoming ending.

Nice ending even if I want to smack those idiot townsfolk! Anyway, I am glad they all found happiness!

I'm so sad to see that it's all over, but it was such a fulfilling end and I'm gal that Weaver and Rhosyn have their own happy ending.
