Voldy's pink teddy chapter 24 . 8/6/2015
I just want to say that I love this. I love how you write Loki, love what an interesting, complex story this is. The details you put in here about magic, different realms, Loki's character, mental illness and family dynamics have made it one of my favorite stories.

I can't believe there's so few comments on this story, it's amazing!

I hope your still uploading,it would be a real shame if it never got finished!

I'm not signed in right now, because I'm too lazy.

Awesome as always. I just want to say that I enjoyed this chapter.

Stark not recognizing Loki was hilarious.

I like your portrayal of the Avengers. I like that Steve is the one that still dislikes Loki. I like Nat and Barton.

I can't wait to see how Loki's plan to get out of this alive works out. I love that it's subtle but simple.

Is Dr Banner not coming to the Fringe then?
dash11 chapter 22 . 2/10/2015
OK, this was hilarious. My only complaint is that I wish we could have seen Romanova's persona leading Loki's persona into a ditch in far more detail.

Loki's description of "Good Loki," the entire 'cocaine' conversation, Thor suspecting a trap but not being able to figure it out, Stark's shock... It's all wonderful, and I didn't review this when I first read it because I was laughing too hard.

I do have one question. Did Loki keep using the term "double agent" because he realized that Thor wouldn't completely understand what he was telling the Avengers? That's what it looks like, but I'd like to be sure.

I really can't express how much I'm enjoying this story.

You write Thor so well. Marvel's Thor is an interesting character to read in fan fiction, because in canon he's a bully who seems to honestly believe that he is doing no wrong, and most writers turn into something he's not. I don't mind this, because I like to imagine places with better Thors. And canon Thor IS a hero who means well. He's just an abusive one.

But you've taken canon MCU Thor, and he feels perfectly in character; you're not making him out to be better than he is and you're not making him out to be an idiot or uncharacteristically cruel, and I love it.

I can't wait to see where this goes. I can't wait to see how the Avengers interacted with Loki, haha. I love the concept that they're all just his pawns.
eilisnp chapter 7 . 2/2/2015
I'm taking my time reading this as I want to savour every chapter! I've never left a review for anything but felt compelled to do so.. I just wanted to say how wonderful your writing is - I'm certain this is most well written fanfiction I've ever come across. The first person perspective is so effective; Loki's voice really jumps off the screen/page. Loving it!
aredellith chapter 21 . 1/31/2015
Thor's self-righteousness and aggressiveness never fails to make me take Loki's side...
Bditm chapter 1 . 1/23/2015
So I just finished reading this for the first time. It's been in my reading queue for months now, but I've been putting it off for the low review count. Wow did I miss out these months! I have read hundreds of Loki fics, and my word nothing comes even close to this one. This is even more impressive, since generally speaking I loathe first person fics, and I almost didn't get past he first paragraph because of it, biut I am sure glad I didn't.

The First person doesn't just work. This fic, it's brilliant and I can't imagine it working so well otherwise. If you're speaking true about this being 60 chaps long ere the end (!), I can't imagine what you have in store for us.

Let me continue to gush. If you're a new reader reading this review, be aware some spoilers follow in the plot paragraph.

Your characterization is amazing. You have this masterful way of showing truth through Loki's very twisted perspective. The relationships are perfect, the dialogue spot-on. I think I love you.

Your writing is phenomenal. I was reading this at 3 am last night and got sore sides from laughing through all the negotiations...so clever, how you ran scene to scene with those connecting lines! I'm still laughing at the brilliance of how well you made that work. Yet at r same time, the snatches of pure agony in this fic, described to be painfully sharp in their glimpses yet subtle enough not to be crude, are stunning. I am mind-boggled by your genius.

Your world building, along with the commentary of it through Loki's eyes. The green cloaks, red cloaks, the cultures and politics of the world, all seen through Loki's embittered, sarcastic eyes. I love it so much!

Finally, your plot. My friend, you are *clever*. A hard hting about writing an unstable, genius character like Loki is creating twists that show his cleverness, but also have twists like the last couple chaps that you can see how they'd work even with someone so clever on watch. Your twist after rescuing the Aesir from the chitari, the theft of the cosmic cube...and I have never seen a fic that went so far as you have, with the FReAKiN DEsTrUcTiOn of Asgard itself!

I'm going to go cry to myself due to the fact that I have to wait for the next chapters. I hope you update soon. How often do you try to (just so I can plan on how often to check back).

Because I need to know what's going to happen! Why isn't the gauntlet working? Where the heck is Odin this whole time, if he's really up to what Loki claims. What is going to happen to Asgard? With Thor now that he is in on the secret?

Thank you for your work with this! I know writing something so amazing takes a lot of sweat and tears, but in your case it has turned out well worth it.

You have yourself a fan. :)
dash11 chapter 19 . 12/9/2014
Didn't have time to review when these chapters first came out (technically didn't have the time to read either; you made me late to work) and then remembered that I hadn't reviewed today.

I'm very glad that this story is staying ship-less, I imagine it'll be better that way. I honestly didn't believe that anyone else would vote for that too, so I'm surprised and pleased to learn that others feel the same way. And...wow. Wow. I can't find it within myself to feel too bad for Asgard as a whole here, but...just thinking of all those ordinary people that didn't make it to the palace is really sad.

I guess Loki's days of pretending to be Odin are over. How the heck did Thor figure it out? Just because "Odin" wasn't acting like Odin? Thor is a lot brighter than he looks, isn't he?

Also the more I see of this story, the more I like the Alfr. I hope we will get to see more of Smirna.

Still loving the unreliable narrator here. It's very well done.

I have absolutely no idea where you are going with this, and I love that.
Jane E Rochester chapter 18 . 12/6/2014
My vote is for no romantic subplot.
Voldy's pink teddy chapter 17 . 11/25/2014
This is a wonderful story! I am enjoying your characterizations so much. Loki's relative degrees of sanity and insanity, his exasperation with Aesir culture, and the experiences he's gone through, are just so interesting. Your plot has me on the edge of my seat, too. The way you write the Chitauri and the Other is just so creepy. You put so much detail into what kind of creatures they are, and write them as such incredibly threatening and unnerving beings, that it makes me shiver.
Guest chapter 17 . 11/20/2014
thank you for updating I hope you find a new great job which pays lots and lots of money full of happy people
dash11 chapter 17 . 11/20/2014
Hooray for an update! I was getting worried, because this is so freaking good that it would be a real tragedy to leave it unfinished, but I didn't want to hound you or anything. Good luck with Real Life. That can be very stressful, I know. And we can wait however long it takes for you to finish.

You write Loki's mental instability very well. I felt his confusion throughout this chapter. And I love Thor trying to defend Loki to Loki while thinking he is Odin, and perpetrating his own (false) theories in defense of his brother about Thanos not being related to the current threat posed by the Chitauri.

I love that Loki has the sense to realize that he is in no state to lead the invasion.

After the invasion, things get wild? What does that even mean? Does Loki lose his Odin-mask? Do the Asir lose the battle? Does Odin return? Is Odin even still alive? I'm excited to find out! *bounces up and down*

Anyways keep up the good work. I squealed when I saw that you had updated.
one123 chapter 16 . 11/4/2014
I love this story the childhood bits make me laugh a lot
kinzeylee chapter 16 . 10/29/2014
This story is amazing, and Loki's mindset is both disturbing and fascinating to read. I have really enjoyed reading this and I can't wait to see what happens next.
