Author has written 4 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Fairy Tail, and Danny Phantom. Hello everyone. I thought I give a brief little introduction of myself since my profile is so empty. I'm 18 (almost 19) years old (I was born in '93) and I'm currently a college student. I'm studying genetics and biotechnology since I would love to cure diseases someday. I like to read, write, swim, hike, and go camping. I've always enjoyed making up stories and writing little thnigs down here and there for my own personal enjoyment, but I've never finished anything becuase I never had the motivation to do so. The closest I've ever gotten to finishing a story was in fifth grade when my mom mistook my papers as trash and threw them away. By the time I was able to find and recover my story, that nights lasagna had already been dumped on it. Needless to say, I didn't finish that story. I also like playing computer and video games. Favorite books: Harry Potter series, Shannara series, Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mocking Jay, Matched, Crossed, the Wheel of Time series, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Favorite movies: The Dark Knight, Harry Potter, almost anything Disney (except for Snow White, her voice makes my ears bleed), Kung Fu Panda I and II, Shrek, Titanic, 10 Things I Hate About You, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Matrix, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Avatar, and Star Trek (the new one). Favorite Manga/Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist, D. Grayman, Pandora Hearts, Blue Exorcist, Fairy Tail, Ouran High School Host Club (gotta love the Twins XD), and Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! Favorite Cartoons: Avatar the Last Airbender, Danny Phantom, Generator Rex, Phineas and Ferb. Most Embarrassing Moment: I was in first grade and I tried to jump over a giant mud puddle to get in line at the end of recess. I missed the grass and slipped, falling right on my butt in front of the whole first grade. Everyone laughed. I laugh about it now too, but at the time, I was mortified. Interesting Fact About Me: I've been in a car accident where my car was tipped on its side after riding up a telephone pole cable. Nobody was hurt, but if we hadn't have hit that cable, we would have hit the telephone pole and been injured pretty bad. Turns out cars don't move as fast and far when they skid on their sides. Facebook post from a friend of mine :DThey see me rollin they hatin' Character Profile: Name: Charity Leanne Evans Charity is a nice girl when she's around people she likes. She isn't shy so she's usually the first person to introduce herself in a situation, and she says what's on her mind. When she was younger, she had anger management issues and would fight with her classmates if they upset her in any way. To help her with this, her parents enrolled her in martial arts to teach her more about discipline and respect. She loved it so she continued going and she is currently a brown belt, but she is ready to test for black belt. Although she isn't shy, if she doesn't have an interest in someone, she doesn't bother socializing with them. To people who aren't friends, she acts very aloof and keeps her distance. This gives a lot of the students at school the impression that she's a snob. She would do anything for her friends or family though. If someone insults the people she cares about, she the first to defend that person. Usually its just a spoken defense, but, if the offender really makes her angry, she has been known to use her martial arts. This is the cause of many of her classmates avoiding her since most havn't forgotten how she beat up Jeremy Lockear when he called her mom a murderer after the disappearance of her dad. She likes it that way though since she doesn't like most of her classmates anyway. Her closest friends are on the tennis team she plays on. She's not really good at tennis, but she can manage to not look stupid. Her team gets along really well for the most part. They stick together since tennis isn't an important sport to the rest of the school. Charity joined the tennis team because her best friend, Maria, was also joining because of a guy she liked who was also on the team. Charity is one of the top students in her grade. She likes chemistry, physics, and math, but she hates English and writing. She's been working hard to live up to her dad's name. It irritates some of the other top students that she does so well since she doesn't have to try very hard. Charity is usually calm in most situations, and she is very adaptable; although, her adaptability has been put to the test with her arrival in Amestris. She's learned to keep a level head; ever since her dad disappeared, she's had to support her mom through all the accusations thrown their way. She uses her sarcasm and witty thinking to help her get by in uncomfortable situations. She has always been uncomfortable with people crying, and she herself hates crying in front of others. She's come to view it as weak. This opinion is a side effect of the teasing she experienced from her classmates shortly after her dad went missing. She quickly realized that when she cried, the students started saying even crueler things (junior high kids are brutal). She has been adament ever since about not crying in front of others. This causes her quite a lot of frustration when she first arrives in Amestris and finds herself crying a lot in front of people she doesn't evev know. I think she can get a break though since that's a pretty rough situation to maintain a straight face in. Now that she's in Amestris, she intends to find her dad quickly and leave so she can clear her mom's name. She hasn't seen him in two years so she's excited to see him again. She's grateful to the people she's met that intend to give her a hand on her mission, but she doesn't know what's in store for her. This will be a lot harder than she thinks it will be. Good luck Charity! |
