well they both have part of their obsessions fixed with their girl. Danny is technically her father but with Vlad being there and more willing to actually treat her right , as the other person who would count as her father, Danny can have a more simpler relationship with her as her big brother. a very protective big brother. possibly rivaling Zatara in over protectiveness.
