2015 update - For the past 9 months my life has been in upheaval, but the good kind! I've been working for the police--which definitely offers a unique perspective of their day-to-day operations, and I like to think that my role with the bureau is kind of like Garcia's on Criminal Minds. Yes, I am that techie nerd behind the computer screen talking to officers, detectives, agents, attorneys, etc. providing an endless stream of information to them. It does wear on the brain, which is why some of my fics have been sitting stagnant. I sit down to write, and then mom/wife duties pop up. Every once in a while I'll get an itch to resume my works, and I can finally add to them! Many of them are already extraordinarily detailed and have structured timelines and plots. There are a couple that began as plot bunnies and have seemingly fallen off of the planet because of that fact.
