I feel a bit bad for Steve. Danny is hurt all b/c of steves mom and a stupid piece of paper. And Steve knows it so it make he feel bad.

Just awesome! This just fit so well with 'shackled'. The only one that would fit just as well would be Steve hanging by his wrists in the North Korea episode. This just brought out the SEAL in Steve to avenge Danny with making Daiyu Mei suffer in every way possible.

You almost feel worse for Steve than you do for Danny. All the fear, anger, sadness, grief - there are so many adjectives to describe what emotions the torture of Danny has conjured up in Steve’s heart and soul. Great chapter. Loved Steve’s perspective of the effect that the moan from Danny’s elicited. Such great writing. Thank you.

Steve does not know the meaning of constraint. The banter between those two was so well written. You know them so well. Your chapter is a mini movie in my mind. In Danny’s rescue Steve definitely did not show constraint! Tear gas and goodness knows what else. Poor Danny having to be treated like a sack of potatoes over Steve’s shoulder when rescued. I need a 2 shot in this story so I can hear more banter - priceless.

Oh my gosh I love this one shot! So funny and so true to both characters. I can just hear Danny saying how much he hated Steve, and how he blamed him for getting shot and burning his leg off! And of course the faithfulness of Steve, right by Danny’s side. How can you not love their love language!

Love it. Poor Steve. Poor Danny. Great Whumptober fic :)

I loved getting Steve’s pov here and all he was feeling after that brief glimpse of Danny.

I think Danny deserves to be carried out, given he was bopped on the head, bless him. I'm sure there will be further ranting from him once he's been checked out and his head stops hurting though! Steve wouldn't have it any other way, if Danny's not ranting, then there's something wrong.
