I just discovered this story and it was amazing. The ending was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. So glad I forced myself to finish it in one day. Amazing work.

I have read this fanfiction in the last two days, many years after you have finished it. I want to thank for this beautiful journey, I have found this "book" (there is really no other way to describe it) meaningful and so well written that it has sucked me into its universe. I have cried at the end, I admit. It's what life is made of, isn't it? Both smiles and tears, emotions. Thanks for those you have so wonderfully written down here.

this is one of the best eo fics that i’ve ever read! I love how you kept everything so realistic. I will admit though I could have done with a different ending that kept me from crying myself to sleep tonight. I definitely won’t be over this for awhile.

This story is so amazingly well written, I can’t get enough of it. I have no idea if you are still on this website but you truly have a gift. There was so much angst, I was yelling at the characters to get their sh*t together. Love the ending and the trip to the future, thank you!

Gah! I've just ploughed through this so fast! I had meant to review every chapter but got so engrossed I barely paused between chapters! I LOVED and HATED this story! You have done this SO BLOODY WELL! You encompass their characters so well, you give a little of what we want but take so much away! You make it so REAL! It was nothing like those fluffy little love pieces. It was raw. It was painful to read. It was frustrating. I wanted to hit them SO MANY TIMES! Argh! You have written this so, so well!

I have no idea if you're still on this site. I just wanted to tell you that I've just spent the last 2 days rereading your story while recovering from surgery. This is one of the best fan fictions I've ever read. It's beautifully written, poignant, and with such great insight into the characters.
I'd forgotten the ending. My husband had a stroke 5 years ago at the age of 47. He has profound speech problems as well as hemiparesis. I was in tears. the story hit very close to home.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you again what a wonderful author you are. I know I reviewed many times as you were writing this but felt, after rereading, I should tell you again :)

Thank you so much for writing this. Your superb ability to write for these characters was shown in every chapter. The story was magnificent, and I was hooked through to the bittersweet end. How wonderfully you portrayed their lives through thick and thin - the poem at the end encapsulated everything beautifully. Much love.
