Benign Viewer

I go by the name Benign Viewer or BV, and you'll see me signing comments and PM's BenignViewer whether I'm signed in or not (sue me, sometimes I'm lazy or my browser stuffs up). However, logged in or not, I always try to leave in depth responses to any fic that grabs my attention. I try to find positives to praise and areas for others to improve upon because this is the kind of feedback I find most helpful. I by no means think I'm perfect, or have all the answers, but I will pass on whatever advice works for me. To others out there, this is how you should review someone else's hard work, with patience, civility and wherever possible; praise.

2010: Off of this site, I'm a young, always in a hurry, male Sci-fi–come–Fantasy geek with a craze for guitars and pens, as well as an inner romantic that would put any hardcore shipper to shame. Hmm... That's basically me on this site as well. What else is there?

I am, as of the present day, an avid fan of, and writing for; A Song of Ice and Fire, Avatar: The Last Airbender, (old school) Doctor Who, Final Fantasy VII, Harry Potter and Star Wars.

2014: As much as I have come to loathe the term 'ships' (now that I've matured some), there are a few that remain dear to my heart; Harry and Ginny Potter, Aang and Katara, Cloud and Aerith, and last but not least, Luke and Mara. But, as with any story, How it is written and crafted are the most important things, and I will always take a well written fan-fic over a lesser one that features my favourite elements from the canon.

2015: A further note for your reading pleasure: I have Fan Fiction accounts under this same name on the Kataang Forever website and under my other alias "TheOnlyBV" on 'The Lab' Bones site (If you know of either of these, you'll know what I'm talking about). I'm also on The Force (dot) Net and SIYE under my usual pseudonym as well.

2019: Hi. It's been a long time. I don't feel too inclined to apologize for that, as I've been working my arse off and achieved a lot personally in my life. What that does mean is that now I've finally found some quiet time to ponder great stories and characters I've loved from my adolescence, and have reignited my passion to write about them. Expect updates soon, albeit sporadically.

2020: Further to 2019, stories are in progress. I have indefinitely suspended my Avatar stories due to a lack of inspiration and motivation. I largely attribute this to the vaccuous and somewhat creatively lacking Korra series. Nothing against anyone who liked it, but I didn't.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, the terrible Game of Thrones season 8 has inspired me to remake the latter half of the storyline in mine own image, so that's another project I'll get around to eventually.
Also the new Final Fantasy VII: Remake game has awoken my old nostalgia for the game and story from my childhood, and I'm eager to explore a couple of story ideas in that universe that I haven't seen any other authors create.
Finally, my long standing Harry Potter epic has been through several drafting phases and I've finally found the voice I want to tell the story so hopefully I'll be able to slowly start rolling those chapters out too.
